As a 36 year old, what i can say is, from mid 20s until my early 30s, after effect of alcohol wouldn't have bothered me so much, now after 35+ i am very moderate drinker, even though i don't have more than 2 pegs, i have a disturbed sleep next day does not feel good , As Dr said it hampers your body .. down the line quitting alcohol is best advice..

Tell me one thing. Why would one have to impress others by drinking alcohol?! This is one thing I've never understood so far. Is it such a great feat that could make an impression on others? I've got a better idea for those who want to impress others by consuming alcohol. Why not consume poison and show off that they can dare to do anything? Isn't it more courageous in their context? We need to stop glorifying this alcohol consumption as some act of bravery among adolescents. Need to make them understand how foolish it is to consume, especially to satisfy their stupid peers.

I used to straight up say no, explaining that I am very well aware that it would feel good to consume alcohol, but that I do also have the brains to avoid it, given how it would be detrimental to health, both physical and mental, if you got addicted. So, why even take a chance with something that you very well know is an addictive substance.

One thing I never get that, in corporate world everyone drinks very often and still they do brilliant in their field. I have seen lot of people drinking 2 to 3 peg - 30 ml per peg daily for almost 15 to 20 years and still they seems perfectly fine and they are one who brag about drinking is good and help in releasing tension, provide good sleep and other things. Even after multiple test there doesn't seem to be any internal problem. Is there any test which can provide some insight on their health proposition and what is at stake?

I don't eat junk food and very little sugar, so my liver has nothing else to do. I notice that Dr. in this video has a fat stomach which is a sign of visceral fat and nonalcoholic fatty liver. His diet is poor and just as bad as an excessive drinker.

There is also alcohol in cough medications, even the ones for children that makes them drowsy. You need to read the alcholo content % by parts of medication, usually such medications contain way small doses that are taken in intervals for 3 or 5 days. I'm sure you won't swallow the whole bottle at one go. The point is not to troll homeo or allo or even western medicine but to understand that alcohol is a solvent where certain drugs that are not water soluble may be used to dissolve it these drugs in and alcohol-based solvent. Of course such drugs are not those that will be affected by the alcohol. Some drugs will turn toxic as they bind to the alcohol, that is why alcohol should not be taken with medications in general. In general, those medications that can be dissolve in alcohol to form syrups and linctus preparations are safe. Of course, any amount of alcohol will affect the liver and cause damage to the cells. but slight damage such as those cause by very little amounts of alcohol such as medications (because you are probably taking it for like 3 or 5 days) , those affected cells will regenerate. I studied Pharmaceutical Sciences, so I am just sharing this info with you.
