I just paid some dude and his gf in my city $140 for 4 hours of work cus lazy people like me don't wanna clean our own cars.😂 They pulled up in a car, pulled out a generator and all their equiptment and left my car looking brand new. Props to them working in the 102 degree heat earning that money👏. People driving by were even stopping and asking them for business cards. Respect to those people making business moves and good luck on the grind yall.

Use an online platform for making appointments that allows for deposits (say 10% of the cost). If customers cancels within 24 hrs, they lose the deposit, since there isn’t enough time to find another customer.

I’m 34 now I started at 21 back in like 09 I got a salon and did 7 cars in one day before social media. I’d reach out to salons and busy businesses money lining up.

Oh yeah fr i do mobile detailing and if the car will take longer i ask the customer to drop it off at my house, but if it’s easy 1-2 hour job I’ll drive out and do it it’s not a easy job but a fun and successful business to get into and make good money

I mean ain’t nothing wrong with it if it’s a really soft microfiber one and if you clean it after every use it’s okay it’s better then the car wash brush, but i like the wash mitts better

A lot of people don’t realize how stressful being a Mobile Detailer is … I run a Commercial Fleet Detailing company in Sacramento and although I don’t work with residential clients it can be stressful when it comes to commercial clients. Also the work isn’t easy work either. That’s why those who understand Detailing understand the rates are worth the price.

man...you said it...it takes time and you work. Doesn't seem like it, especially to "regular people" and Some wonder why it's $ 150 and up for a detail. I make the roughly 50 bucks/hour at my regular job just as I make at detailing (roughly)...but I use more brain power at my regular job. I just enjoy the detailing a lot, cleaning and how people feel about the results....but man, it's taxing, constant working during that 1.5 hours plus.

This man needs Auto Service Pro! $25/month is a lot cheaper than hiring somebody! Vince Moley is the next Yves Lacroix.

Take from a guy that has 8 years under his belt. Every car is different, you could have 2 Honda Civics, one could take you 45 minutes to do, and the other could be 2 hours. It all comes down to what condition the car is in.
