How Motorbike Therapy Can Transform Your Mental Health - A Rider's Guide

Experience the mental health benefits of motorbike therapy with moto meditation and zen rides. Discover the tranquillity of therapy on wheels! A short video on the benefits of motorcycle riding, to aid mental health. Relaxation. Mindfulness. Living in the moment. As a military veteran, I like many of my old comrades do suffer from time to time. Nothing to be ashamed of. But learning to recognise the symptoms, and how to deal with them is an important step.

Reminds me with daughter on the rear seat just doodling along the Old Road on the NSW Central Coast on a very green and leafy part of the ride wjen a shadow appeared on the road in front of me as a wombat crossed the road. Car coming the opposite way and we were both happy to watch him cross. Good for the mind, thanks for the memory Teacher T😊

@@Teacher-T-Thailand Do you plan on tuning your 650 or install aftermarket plug and play ECU piggyback?

@@Griffindor21 sadly no. I like the engine running just as it is at the moment. Getting 28 kph. So don’t want to alter that. 🙏

@@Teacher-T-Thailand It is still a very important video, one that I am seeing more and more bikers talk about. I don't think it's something that car drivers can understand. I always tell people that I love to ride because it's the closes I can get to flying. Hadn't realised that you are a veteran and whatever you did and in whatever service, I for one am very grateful for your service. It's a difficult and often thankless job. With regards to riding and mental health, I had to re-learn how much I enjoyed riding by downgrading to a smaller bike and a different format (from adventure bikes to cruisers) You really do have to work on remembering that it's about the ride and not the destination.

@@B0M0A0K Thank you for your kind words. Yes, 14 years for Queen and country. So after that, can not live a normal life. Hence teaching and living in Thailand for 20 years, which I love very much. Nothing wrong with down sizing. I actually zoned out more on my 350 than I do on my 650. There will always be place for another 350 in my life. Safe riding 🙏

Thanks. For commuting to school and back every day, the 350 was lighter, more manoeuvrable and easier to ride and of course more economical. But riding over the mountains on busy highways the extra power keeps me safer and away from crazy Thai car drivers. I've got used to the power now, And the attention. The 650 gets the looks. And I love the sound. But I will never rule out downsizing to a 350 again as I get older ,🤣
