Silver Rathalos really got the short end of the stick being pitted against Seething Bazelgeuse in the first round of the Elder Tier Tournament. He's a very strong Monster-vs-Monster combatant in his own right, but he got saddled taking on the single strongest non-Elder Dragon in the whole game :P

Yeah seething Bazel at least monster v monster literally destroys everything that gets in its way, and was even able to barely beat flaming espinas(if I remember correctly), which is accurate since lore wise it would be extremely close, just espinas has a bit more defense and Bazel has a bit more offense.
This is pretty much the most unusual battle and I do like it. I just wish all monsters cannot inflict elemental blight to eachother when they are both same element or are immune to that specific element, for examples Goss Harag and Barioth cannot ice blight eachother because they are both ice monsters and are immune to the ice element and we got Rakna-Kadaki who is not only immune to fire but also immune to thunder therefore she cannot get fire and thunder blighted. And I think it’s kinda annoying that is not a feature in the game especially since not only the monsters are immune to that specific element and use it but also the fact there are monsters that cover themselves with that type of element such as Velkhana, Lunagaron, and Goss Harag are Ice Monsters that cover themselves in ice, Teostra cover himself in fire, and Zinogre covers itself in thunder.

Magma Almudron is the most infuriating, the dude lives in Lava, but can be hurt by Fireblight? Its fine if a Rath gets fireblighted, cause you can still see a Animal like this feel Pain from Burning, but not something what lives in Fire.
The divorce hits hard.....But the metal Rath´s fireball nukes hits harder!
After that ultimate attack that Golden rathian did the flames would like a shape of a heart 😮

I have to say that Gold Rathian packed a punch. But it was clearly not enough to survive from Silver Rathalos onslaught.

They have the same hellfire and armour but the Silver Rathalos poisonous claws in combination with the incredible flight speed and tactical flying attacks gave him the edge in the battle.

i think this would be a bit closer if rathian was able to poison rathalos, maybe would have even made the match up 50/50. Still like Rathian more anyways
