This is a good intro for young people who don't know much about cars. For those of us who are 40+ most of this is old news. The title is very misleading, as there's NO talk of Military Innovation. Thanks.

Not the worst documentary I've seen (few factual errors) but I didn't see the relations between the supercars and the military innovation in it... Maybe a title change...?

I enjoy the documentary. I wish only FD will tone down the annoying background music. 🤮 So typical for these mixing board jockeys to think they are the center of the show. 🙄Oh, and the worst is the fake dubbed in high revving F1 engine sound on so many of the cars featured. BTW, despite the title there isn't much about the waterfalling of military technologies into the supercars discussed.

I drive a Maserati GT.... the other Italian SuperCar. It has a front mid-engine (sits behind front wheels), rear drive and rear transaxle. It has perfect 50 / 50 weight distribution. Engine placement means a long stylish hood. When Fiat bought Maserati and Ferrari, they reorganized both companies and saved them from bankruptcy. Engines were produced by Ferrari for a period of time. My car has same normally aspirated V8 engine as does a comparable Ferrari. I bought the car because of how it sounds, looks, and handles. It does get lots of stares at the traffic light. It looks similar to an Aston Martin. Unlike other exotic sports cars, the Maserati has 4 seats, leather interior, trunk, and creature comforts. It was designed as a exotic luxery SuperCar. It has been upgraded with 21 inch wheels and ultra high performance tires. It handles better than I care to push it. People ask how fast does it go, I tell them I don't know because the speedometer only goes to 200 mph. It would be nice to have both a Ferrari and a Lamborghini to go along with the Maserati. But that would require a bigger garage and much bigger bank account. I'll keep the Maserati for now.

I get it. You are dumb. Dont flaunt it too much... first of all. Its the humble start these cars got thanks to military inventions. Such as cars from after ww1 that got literal plane engines. Here they got advanced transmissions, technicallity, new brakes and more. But i gues you were just deaf 90% of the time. How is it a misleading title when they literally talk about the military technologies that went into these cars? Also windtunnels, these things were used to test military models of planes that where considered going into full scale production. And here they would change things when they could.... and suddenly car manufacturers started using them too
