Let me share some signs of hypercritical bosses.
❎They focus excessively on faults and mistakes, overlooking any positive aspects. This behavior is evident when they regularly point out errors in other’s work, even minor or insignificant ones, and rarely praise them.
❎They set unrealistic standards that are difficult or impossible to meet. Such behavior leads to disregarding the effort and progress made by the teams.
❎They tend to micromanage (in the name of feed-forward), taking control of tasks that should be delegated and constantly checking in on every detail.
❎Their lack of trust in their team’s abilities contributes to a stressful and demotivating work environment.
