One thing not mentioned here was his great humanitarian work, He gave lot of his worth to various charities , sick children, homeless poeple, went to hundreds of hospitals to donate in person, donated to anyone who desperately needed money to survive, paid for funerals, He was on Guinness book of world records for the highest amount of money donated by a super star in the world, most of these humanitarian work was not known as he didn't do any of these humanitarian work for publicity, also that agent from AEG himself said Michael wanted his concert tickets were low priced so his fans from all over the world able to attend ,he wanted their dreams come true , Michael 's music is timeless, his legacy will live generation after generation until music lasts in this world.

Where is the dislike button for the guy reporting this story… he failed to mention the bigger background story… this tour was at a time when so many had turned their back on MJ… specially Corporations… if you know anything about big tours the production cost is mostly covered by many big companies endorsements… History tour had a hard time finding companies that would put big money behind it out of fear of it failing… The false accusations hurt MJ’s corporate viability for the rest of his life

HIStory tour is when Michael reputation started to crumble. He felt like he had to spend so much more money so the fans would come and see him perform. Michael Jackson was very extraordinary. He did every thing big and had the money to spend

Sure ✔️ But let’s not get it twisted the real reason why MJ was getting into so much debt by mid to late 90’s was because corporate America & the Music & Touring Industry & Hollywood’s Top Tier management had basically deserted him. The “Machine”wasn’t behind him anymore !!! FACTS !!

Wait this makes no sense. Taylor Swift's Eras tours stage alone costs 200 million dollars and is a much more massive and technologically complicated structure than MJ's HIStory tour stage. How did she make a massive profit off her eras tour, yet Michael lost money on the HIStory tour when you consider how much grander it was for its time? Not to also mention Beyonce's renaissance your which is also very grand and elaborate. And that made money.

Yeah. Thar's pretty much bs. Yes, tickets were cheaper back then, but not as cheap as quoted here. They were in line with what tickets cost in '96/'97.

I mean Taylor tickets go for like hundreds of dollars tho thousands of dollars same for Beyonce, if Michael had that pricing for his tours those tours alone would be the biggest tours all time, but Michael wanted his fans to enjoy the show so which is the reason for the tickets being low
