Sad statistic: During ww2 Poland lost 20% of it's population, which means the highest result all over the world. Which by it straight means, every 5th civilian lost life because of the occupation. Only 11% of these people died due to the warfare.

It wasnt indonesia, but Dutch East Indies. See the graph grow after the japs invaded? Wasnt the Dutch colonials doing that. They were hurting as well.

India suffered alot in the past because of the British rule we had to fight the ww1, 2 faced so many famine and then divided the country into 2 caused so many deaths drawed the line in just 3 weeks.

So did most other countries. Britain suffered heavy bombing causing tens of thousands of civilian deaths as well as shortages of food because of the U-boat blockade. France suffered four hard years of German occupation with some of its citizens being executed or sent to the extermination camps. The Soviet Union suffered four years of brutal fighting on its territory and the near extermination of its people in the areas that were occupied. Yours is not the only country to suffer and a lot of countries suffered far more than India so it might be an idea to do some research in future and then comment.

They were annexed during this period and most of their losses were to the Soviets.

More respect for the Russian soldiers than the western soldiers they have lost more soldiers and no one else could lose so much than Russia. I always have respect for Russia that the country has persevered so much in 6 years..
