How Many Lawns Can You Trim Using The Kress Prosumer Battery In The Commercial String Trimmer

In this video I answer an Instagram followers DM asking me to try using the Kress Prosumer batteries in the Commercial string trimmer to see how many lawns I could trim versus using the Kress commercial batteries I had tested in a previous video.

Let me know in the comments below what you think of the Kress 60V battery powered tool lineup.

As a dealer we have been nothing but impressed with the entire lineup. Looking forward to seeing how the snowblower does.

That’s exactly what my dealer has said as well about the Kress lineup. They also mentioned the feedback they have gotten from people who buy it is always positive. I’m looking forward to testing the snow blower but it has been unseasonably mild weather so far this year. No snow in the current forecast. Currently I can go out in the middle of the day with just a T-shirt or a hoodie at the most. Pretty crazy for mid December. Although typically we get snow more often in January through March. Thanks for watching.

Thanks so much for answering my question and doing a video on this. Did you mostly use the weed eater on the lowest speed setting

Thanks for asking the question that inspired the video. Yes I always use the Kress commercial trimmer on the lowest setting. That trimmer is so powerful it’s like having a full on brush cutter on the highest settings. Way too much power for weekly maintenance. So it’s always on the lowest setting. You could probably catch a glimpse of it on the screen when I checked battery level on the tool side. Thanks for watching.

How many hours of trimming would you say that was

Unfortunately I did not time each trimming and edging. But if I had to guess I’d say it was probably between 2-3 hours of trimming on one battery. That’s with the trimmer on the lowest power level. That’s all I ever use. That trimmer is so powerful it’s like having a brush cutter on the highest power settings. For weekly maintenance the lowest setting is more than enough power. I’ll have to do it again next season and time them on the same route with both batteries. Thanks for watching.

    So the batteries are interchangeable?

Yes. All the batteries regardless of being commercial or prosumer are interchangeable with all the tools. You can use the prosumer batteries in the commercial tools or commercial batteries in the prosumer tools. You can even put the prosumer tools in the commercial rapid charger. It just won’t charge them at the same speed the commercial batteries can charge at. You can even put these prosumer batteries in the commercial mower. Thanks for watching.
