This is what happened to me. I had a similar hose, it was wonderful, lightweight, maneuverable, great. A few months after getting it it pops like this, I fix it pretty much the same way. Then again a month later, then a week later, and then again. After a while, there was not enough usable hose. Seeing how the rubber wore and became brittle I think it was a cheap material and UV affected it and the sleeve was not providing much protection because it was a light translucent green thing. If I get one again I would try not to keep it outside, maybe hang it up in the garage or a porch. But that might be too much hassle.

I don't know why you didn't replace that washer while you had it apart
👍🙂!
I don't have any matric allen wrenches.
sound like Joe Rogan
Looks fixed to me
Good besides the wire
If by fixed you mean fixed/rigged to break after two weeks of use then ya. It’s fixed. (Not your repair. The hose in general)
Bro you prob paid $12 for that hose at Walmart! Throw that garbage hose out & go spend a little cash on a great hose that you’ll get your moneys worth out of! Great fix btw!
