I have had a lot of questions revolving around how long coturnix quail can be expected to lay eggs. Most of these are really asking about when you should replace your quail. In this video I address that topic.

Thanks Chris, we bought ten quail in Oct of last year that were six weeks old and they have not laid any eggs yet. We were afraid to try and get them started in November. We live in North East Mississippi so should we go ahead and put an artificial light on them now to get them started for their best production? Thanks again and God bless.
Chris, does it matter if you leave your roosters in with the hens during the winter months? I was wondering if it causes stress.

How much can you charge for a 12 pack of quail eggs? The quail eggs that come from CHINA go for 12.99 to 57.00 dollars. The farmers market they sale for 8.00 for 8.00 what do you recommend? I love your channel thank you

In the past when I sold quail eggs locally I've sold them for $5 a dozen for hatching, $3 a dozen if they're just for eating. Hope that helps you!
hi, I have 25 quail eggs in my incubator. and I am on day 16 but there not hatching yet. I have been candling them a lot and there is always a lot of life inside (veins, movement, ) do you know what that could be? why there not hatching yet? how long is the longest it can take for them to hatch?

Up temp 1/2° and up the humidity by 10%, can be day 17- 19 you should be good if your temperature has been at 99.5°, exciting isn't it!!!
