Especially if it was becoming a one sided relationship with only the person being dumped making the effort and trying to work things out. Theres no way in hell I will reach out to him to maybe discuss getting back together. He messed up and if he regrets breaking up with me he should be the one waiting for a second chance from me.

No. Wrong. No contact doesn't last forever. People often go in no contact when someone tells them they need space or time to think If you have been with someone for years and they're telling you they need space , give them space. 6 weeks later, they don't need space. They're just gone. You know if you want to be with someone or you don't. Intuitively , and intellectually. You know. You know if there can ever be a future with someone again or if it's over. And if you don't know 6 weeks is more than enough time to think about it At that point they need to come out and tell you they're moving on

If they dumped you once - How can you ever trust that they will be there for you in Years to come. You will always live with the Fear that they could leave again. It will drive you Crazy. Move on and find someone that Loves and appreciates you for Life.

Yup, definitely no need to be walking on eggshells around a dismissive ex that has returned.., let them go forever!!! If they come back with the realization that what they did was just unnecessary infliction of pain, then maybe take them back otherwise they are out forever! They've lost your trust and tried to break you down, it's not their right to do that, they've lost the trust and respect indefinitely!!!

100 percent, the faith invested in a long lasting relationship has to be stronger than almost anything else, accepting a break up for a lot of people (especially myself going on a month) is difficult but is necessary in order to truly improve.

Got a question about this. I purchased the "How to get an ex back if we still live together?" video pack and it had good tips for sure but I felt it didn't really apply to my situation. No contact is awful unless one is occupied with growing one's own life. It is a crapshoot whether or not recontact will ever happen and only being happy in one's own life can tilt the odds in one's favor.

Don't contact him!!! Let him find out, by himself, that you live your life the way you do, he eventually might get nostalgic and his ego get a bit bruised, and then he might contact you!!! And if he never contacts you, just let him be!!!

I guess he forgot about me. No contact for 4 months now. I tried to reach out during that time on 3 occasions but he ignored all my attempts. It's been 6 weeks since my last casual text, I got nothing in return. I get it, we need to work on ourselves.....Apparently I needed too much affection he said, this was during the first 5 months of our relationship, but it takes 2 to make relationships work. Will he make a bigger effort, or will it always be myself compromising to make him happy. And, can this man commit to long-term? He came and left twice already in 6 months :(

I am going through something similar. Mine spoke to me for 1.5yrs but then apparently I was too much for him. I was too much because I was constantly being ignored with no closure. This happened after he spoke to me every single day for over a year and then wondered why I was needy when he started ignoring me. I kept trying to reach out but kept getting ignored. I was given no answers to anything except that I need to stop texting him so much and its my fuakt this has happened. I'm constantly on day 14 of no contact but finding it so hard now. I just want closure 😥

They are narcissists. Move on and let them eat by their karma. A person who loves you won't ignore you for so long. Feel the pain accept that they will never able to truly love you, if they come back they would only hurt you again. Move on and be happy, that's the best revenge. What meant to stay in your life, you won't have to force. That's how you will know it's meant to be and it's yours! Maybe it is a gift that they leave so you can make space for even greater who deserves you better and can truly love you and never leave you for someone else!
