Thank you! I painted my concrete patio. Still tacky. I was blaming the paint but I think I’m the bad guy. 😮 I used too heavy of a coating and coated too quickly in between. 😢 lmao at the end. Watching paint dry isn’t boring. It’s frustrating!!

Watching this video was like watching paint drying...wait....what? Just kidding. I couldn't resist. Loved the video. I have a small paint job using Testors paint and was wondering how long until it would be dry. Thank you for the video. Cheers from America.

So I’ve been curing my paintings for 6 weeks before varnishing. You really didn’t tell me how long I need to wait at typical household conditions

What is your location? What is the temperature there? What is the relative humidity? Are you indoors? Is there rain or fog? Does the paint stay above 10°C all day and all night?

Can u dry acrylic painting faster using hairdryer

  • @MatisseDerivan

It’s not best practice to dry acrylic with a hair dryer as it can move paint around, smearing your beautiful creation. However, if it’s very thin and on the lowest setting of warmth then it might work for you. The main issue with doing this is that when the paint is thicker, you will only dry the top layer first which traps moisture. I hope that helps you.

@@MatisseDerivan i mean.... I still kinda like leave it for a while and feel how the item thats painted on how hot it is. Like you know that part where it's like dry but tacky? I feel like the lamp took that out and dried up the paint dunno if that's a placebo tho. Because i painted a plastic piece in acrylic and it always feels tacky but doing that... *_SORTA_* helped oh mate I'd love if you have any techniques on painting plastic with acrylic paint like how to actually make it stick to the bloody piece and stay there or if there's any other thing to put on top sealing it or something
