I have been dealing with stomach issues for almost a decade bcz of some medication I was taking. I would have bouts of vomiting and poop attacks that would send me to the hospital. They never figured out what was happening just test after test and more meds. They wanted to take out my gall bladder but I opted out. I came off the meds and everything was better for a while till recently and I had another attack and my pH has been off since Jan. I have been doing this regimen now for over a week and all is better. I also have done the bone broth and that has been ultra healing. I am so greatful

So many people don’t know how to love. The best way to know how to love is exactly what you said... love and be kind to others. I say it’s about being who and what you needed as a child. What I didn’t get, I give to others. I’ve been seeing the word “Now” lol. This podcast was so healing 😌😇 Youre an Angel

Hi Dr axe, your research and efforts are not in vain. You truly are an amazing human being thank you for all you do. I greatly appreciate you. The help that you are giving people here I know to be the absolute truth, as I have suffered with these elements for most of my life. I am 49 years old about to turn 50 in March and I started getting headaches when I was about 13 years old. it took me about 20 years to figure out what was going on and I still struggle with keeping myself in balance. But your videos greatly impact my thinking and well-being thank you very much.

Wow what a great episode! 🙏💗 I watched a few videos about Leaky Gut and healthy Microbiome but this one by far is the best one! So informative and covers so many different angles of healing! Also I found it very interesting when you mentioned Triathlon training and effects of overtraining on gut health. My so far unexplained by doctors health issues (chronic fatigue and muscle pains) began leading up to and after completing Half Iron Man 3 years ago but I didn't really have any gut issues as such so I never looked into healing Leaky gut but now it makes so much sense!🙌 Thank you for sharing this info Dr Axe!💗

I have crohn's disease. I am on vegan diet, I learned that a whole food plant diet is the best. Nuts and seeds can be digested easier if they are soaked in water for some hours

For some people suffering from Crohn’s, consuming high amounts of fiber, especially from raw fruits and vegetables, can be too difficult for their compromised systems to handle. Which can be problematic when consuming a plant-based diet. Be sure to keep a food diary to find what foods cause most discomfort for you. I been changing my diet to a fresh diet with steamed veggies with rice and potatoes, after I ended up in the hospital I felt like death and they said I had urticaria. It’s been months now I still hv burning stinging feet hands and my head. With rash all over with itching constantly. I stopped over the counter meds and started cbd oil (organic, & 3 party testing) blood work said I’m not allergic to anything as well . Cbd has helped the most with fresh diet (low histamine) I hv had graves hyper thyroid for 13 years and treated for hyattia hernia for 8 years. I heard u talk about Lyme disease, I want to ask my dr about testing for that . I hv the signs for that with this urticaria, thank u 🙏 u are so informing for all of us that need healing

Watch out for store bought chicken bone broth.. most those are very inflammatory, I can’t touch them, and I have IBD, interstitial cystitis , osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia .. most of those chickens are fed grains .. they are awful.. I have to order my whole chickens from a local farm that don’t feed their chickens grains.. makes a 100% difference on the body

Fantastic video! I have had health issues for years! I found out about doing a gut microbiome test which i did and came back that i had a bad case of leaky gut and high pathogenic bacteria. I think it was all the antibiotics i took in the past and of course a bad diet. I am now into my 2nd month of my gut heal and nourish plan which is a new diet eating healthy foods, cutting out all gluten, wheat, sugar and dairy products and also am taking supplements aswell. I feel better and have lost weight. If you would like to know if you have leaky gut or not i would reccomend getting a gut microbiome test done! :)

Dr Axe how do you know when you’ve healed your leaky gut? I was told I have IBS at 13. I’m 52 now. I’ve suffered from fatigue, stomach issues and chronic migraines. I’m convinced my gut is the root cause to most if not all my health issues

There are mail-in test that can identify the types of bacteria you have in your stool, for around 200~. I'd start with that to see if your gut microbiome is healthy.

Isn’t it funny that doctors were saying leaky gut syndrome wasn’t a real thing not too many years ago and now you’ve been proven right? Actually Hippocrates was proven right! 🤣 Thank you for such a detailed video. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and a handful autoimmune diseases starting 10 years ago and have gotten progressively more ill since then (from the AI illness; I’m now cancer free). I’ve made changes to my diet and lifestyle that have helped but I’m ready to step it up a notch if only to lessen the more acute symptoms and maybe even reduce the amount of prescriptions I take? Hopefully. At the least, it’ll be an even healthier way to eat so it’s already a win. Off to order your new book!
