How Keto/Carnivore Diet Healed His Bipolar II Disorder

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

@MichaelBDotHelp endured over a decade of suffering before receiving his diagnosis- Bipolar II, only to discover that medication was not the solution. It took half a year to locate a psychiatrist who was prepared to help him adopt a keto diet, and the outcomes have been remarkable.

    My dad is bipolar, on meds, disabled, absolutely morbidly obese, believes in the SAD diet, "balance", fiber. I'm trying to educate him on carnivore, but it's slow going. For myself, I'm going to start carnivore soon. Very excited. I can't wait to be healthy and out of pain.

    Petra, sorry about your dad. 🙏🏼 Prayers for him. If you haven't started on Carnivore yet, how do you expect your dad to start on it? *Showing* someone by *example* is the *best* way to get someone else to start carnivore. Why do you hesitate to start carnivore? Just do it! Do it for your dad if you hesitate for yourself.

    My buddy I worked with had bipolar and got hangry daily. He used to hate when I would say "Don't make me hungry. You wouldn't like me when I'm hungry". I laugh at the irony today that I also have it. He healed his bipolar 30 years ago by cleaning up his personal life and finding his spiritual path. He hadn't thought about his illness until talking with me recently. Amazing.

    @@guaranteedtopwn yeah man, I got so tired of destroying my own things! It was always my prized possessions!! I sorta came into a bit of control over myself with age.(not really) I just removed triggers and tried to stay away from alcohol! The depression was a constant! I kind of just came to live with it. I decided that I would like to see the future and stopped the ender thoughts, and tried to pick up the pieces of my health. That’s where I bumped into a Kerry Mann video and it changed my life!! I always figured feeling depression would be a constant thing for me and I was shocked to realize that it wasn’t with me anymore!! A lot of things have changed in my life in a short time. I had to learn to figure out my emotional state and now it’s not a black cloud I live under. I’m in a unique situation as I am sad and had to figure that out. I’m sad for humanity and I’m sad for myself as well. I suppose it’s loneliness that makes me sad, but I know that’s not permanent. I’m a very damaged person and at my age it’s hard to care about me. I can be sure. It can be B vitamins. Or lack of daily sun. Poor sleep. Stress. All of it including but most importantly diet. Best part, doesn't matter which toxin it is! Eat meat!

  • @1Hope4All
    @1Hope4All2 ай бұрын

    I've done a lot of research on bipolar over the years. A lot of it is because of lack of sleep. It's our brain being off balance. Messed up Hormones up there. But also lots of toxins! When we sleep, our brain goes through detox. It's a good thing being carnivore helps us sleep better! But it's also so many other things about carnivore that helps with bipolar. But sleep is a huge part of it.

  • @MichaelBLive

    @MichaelBLive

    I can tell you sleep will derail the train but diet puts it back on the track. Stress can do the same. And vitamin deficiencies. Be wary of painting with that broad brush. Eat meat!

  • @1Hope4All

    @1Hope4All

    2 ай бұрын

    @@MichaelBLive I eat meat. And I'm trying to get my mom to eat meat for many reasons besides bipolar. She's been bipolar for years! She has lacked sleep for years. Her circadian rhythm has been off for decades. She worked 2nd shift then started 3rd shift and stayed on 3rd for years. It was lack of good deep sleep that messed her up. Lack of sleep and screwed up circadian rhythm will mess anyone up. Fatty meat will do wonders for your brain. But so can sleep. Detoxification of the brain happens during sleep. The brush can be broad. You may be talking about too much sleep or restless sleep, not sure. But sleep helps too.

I’ve also lost 85 lbs (was 300 lbs, now 215), reversed/cured T2 diabetes, high blood pressure, acid reflux, chronic fatigue and arthritis in my knees, ankles, neck and back, IBS, migraines, sleep apnea/snoring, brain fog, dry and irritated eyes and floaters, skin tags, and too much more to list. I am Healthy, Happy and Hopeful (“The 3 H’s of a Proper Human Diet”), my energy levels, mental clarity and focus is off the charts and… I FEEL LIKE A PROPER HUMAN AGAIN!!! I hope that everyone feels the way I feel l, but sadly millions of people will never experience feeling like a proper human with no aches, pains, obesity, headaches, brain fog etc…. And as always….
