We all hope we are born again and sometimes our weakness makes us think we are not. You know you are when you since the spirit is near. Just by looking at nature or people you love. Just believe Jesus has forgiven your sins and try to live what He teaches us. Nothing hard you have to do, it is grace that has set you free. Just believe!

It just might be a little more effective if you took a couple extra minutes and instead of pouring in the liquid "sin" all at once use some type of dropper or pour small amounts in representing individual sins. Then as you do that actually name some common sins that you know children are guilty of doing. Example, I stole a candy bar when I was just 5 y/o from the local store. Telling a lie is VERY common. You might think of some others. As you mention a sin put a little more in there for each sin. Then do the thing with the candle. A child or an adult for that matter cannot be saved unless they KNOW they are sinners. Admitting your a guilty sinner before God is step number one to get saved.

5:17 Certainly disbelieved - those who said, "Indeed, Allah, He (is) the Messiah, son (of) Maryam." Say, "Then who has power against Allah (in) anything if He intends to destroy the Messiah, son (of) Maryam, and his mother and whoever (is) in the earth all?" And for Allah (is the) dominion (of) the heavens and the earth and what (is) between both of them. He creates what He wills, and Allah (is) on every thing All-Powerful.

If Christ came to bear the sins of men because of Adam's sin, what about the people who came before Christ? !! What will be their fate? And what about the prophets that God sent to men before Christ, and why God sent them as long as humans bear sin? !! And the prophets are human and they also carry sin. ? !!! Why did not Christ come in the time of Adam or shortly after him to bear sin? !! Why do humans leave their sins for so long?

Before Jesus was sacrificed on the cross for the sins of man, God's people had the sacrificial system. They were to make a sacrifice unto God by killing a lamb to atone for their sin. The lamb was to be in the first year of birth and without blemish/defect. It was to represent Christ. Just imagine having to take a perfect little lamb that had done nothing wrong and that was at the very beginning stages of life and having to walk or carry it all the way to the courtyard or alter and then kill it and drain it's blood in order to atone for the sin that you committed. It must have been heartbreaking. You certainly would have felt very sorry and would have never forgotten why you had to offer that sacrifice. God has always allowed people a way back to Him and to the arms of grace. Also the Bible tells us that God winks at ignorance. So for those who had or have not had the opportunity to hear about or know Christ, God is merciful. Those who choose to love sin and refuse to repent however will not be in the kingdom of Heaven. They will be destroyed. So why hasn't Christ come sooner? Why must we bear sin for so long? Because God is love. Why didn't God just destroy Satan so we never would have known sin? Because had he just destroyed Satan and the angels that followed Satan, the rest of Heaven and the world would have then followed God out of fear. God doesn't want anyone to serve Him out of fear. Service of love is the only acceptable thing for God. That's why He gives us freedom of choice. He doesn't force anyone to follow Him and He's allowed the world and man to exist for so long because He loves us so much that He continues to extend mercy toward us. He's willing to wait so that everyone gets a chance to make a choice to serve Him or reject Him. Noah preached for 120 years before God sent the flood that destroyed the world. How merciful is He that He would give mankind 120 years before He would destroy them? Even today the Bible is full of warnings, signs, and prophecies that can be interpreted and understood. God has given us these warnings so that we can know that His return is soon, once again extending mercy.

@@caseyk6625 my question is based on those people who lived before Jesus's coming where they were believing in one God (unitarian not trinity) and you believe that people who do not believe in the trinity and that Jesus is God, their sins would not be forgiven. so the question again, why he did not come soon after Adam's sin to let them know that he is also a God like the father? if their sins were forgiven, so there is no need for Jesus's coming and his sacrification on the cross.

The truth is brother, I cannot make you or anyone believe anything. Christians are supposed to preach the word, not force it upon the non-believers. So my answer is, your belief is totally up to you. I however do believe that God is three in one (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). Kind of like how there can be 3 companies all under the same name but different departments. Jesus was always there from the beginning (John 1) and when he came to earth, that is when his mission started. He died for our sins for everyone, past and future. Everything that is said in the bible takes a lot of faith to believe in the word of God. Though my words aren't enough and if the bible is not enough too then that is up to you. Note that no one was there in the beginning. The big bang theory also takes faith to believe it for both the bible and the big bang theory have evidence but no one ever saw it. Therefore it takes faith to believe in the unseen. One can say "How do you know a building did not jus appear out of nowhere?" Then the other answers, "A builder built it." The one says "Though you never saw the building built by a builder?" Without a building, there needs to be a builder. With something like the big bang, something cannot come from nothing.

Such a friendly demo to illustrate your point but I would like to lovingly confront your wonderful commentators and you on some points. After all if we can't have logical talks about Jesus or God, then we are like other religions which bar their followers from thinking or asking questions. If any of you would like to respond I would be so grateful for it. Here's my problem and actually the whole worlds problem with a rare few of Christian doctrines. First of all, there're a lot of people who insist every word in the Bible is True. But then you find out that they didn't really mean that we could heal as Jesus said his followers could. Someone decided we are not followers.. and only the apostles were. So the definition of followers was changed it appears to fit a certain narrative'. Then others say Genesis I, a purely spiritual account of creation is no longer true. Even tho' it's numero uno in the Bible, it's not true, (they say) because we are no longer made in God's image and likeness and furthermore we are born with a depraved nature, or sin nature. We need the Churches to make us whole and good. It appears the fact that Moses supposedly wrote Genesis Chapter One seems of far less importance than a story about Adam and Even eating an apple due to a talking snake. Then we are blamed for someone else's mistakes. Good parents don't blame little Johnny for what little Sue caused, particularly if it was thousands of years ago. But then Heresy was punishable by death in the old days. Genesis I lifts people UP, "God saw EVERYTHING God made and behold... it was VERY GOOD. But Rome, or shall we say the Roman Emperor Constantine, got the ball rolling to help us all realize what a bad and sinful bunch we are and we couldn't possibly heal. That would have made Rome and all the other dictatorships irrelevant. The fact that Rome killed most of all of the leaders of Christianity including Jesus never seems to be questioned either. We swallow the reinvented Christianity as Rome decided and still decides. Ever heard of a One World Religion. The Pope and his predecessors have been hugging on every religious figure in the world hoping to get back control over the pesky Protestants, the Islamic faith, the Hindu's and all the rest. When people turn to Genesis I for the Truth, there is LIBERATION... we are God's BELOVED children, and the fact that some people DON'T believe it seems to give them the right to harm people , subjugate them and put them into dictatorships/socialism. Think of all the Genocides, the "exterminations" in our history... why??? Are we that horrible that we deserve that kind of treatment. These are simply things to ponder. But imagine if you would having a family of children and you told them all they were losers and sinful. Or a family where you told them they were made with a heart to love and help others... and to do good for others and one's family. Much love....

Teri, thank you for your long comment, very well written. I am a Presbyterian Pastor and I would say my teachings of Gods Word sums it like this for me. We All should love each other as we love ourselves. How we worship God no matter what religion as long as it lifts God up to all glory. So much hate in the world, we need love. Thank you again for your comment.

SURAH FATIR (35:18) : And no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. And if a heavily burden soul calls another to bear (to carry some off) his load, nothing of it will be lifted even if he should be a close relative. You (Prophet Muhammad SAW) can warn only those who fear their Lord unseen and perform As- Solat. And whoever purifies himself (from all kinds of sins), then he purifies only for the benefits of his ownself, his soul. And to Allah is the (final) destination. QURAN SURAH AL-MAIDAH, VERSE 39 : 5 : 39 But whoever repents after his wrongdoings and reforms. Indeed, Allah will turn to him in forgiveness. Indeed Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
