Terance: I don't get the joke. The Swiss make good stuff. And they are smart enough to stay out of all wars and stash other people's money, so that nobody wants to invade or disrupt them. omega: Switzerland is neutral and stays out of all wars, so it would probably not be bombed. But in an all-out nuclear war, I am not sure any place would be safe. If the countries around it were hit, the radiation would spread. However, yes, I think Switzerland would be a better place than most, especially if you were high up in the mountains

Japanese government was too ambitious around early 20th century. The whole country had fell into a fever for glory and greatness, the "Rising Sun" so to speak. I could hardly share any empathy towards the Japanese back in WW2, for the monstrous deeds they did to the neighboring country like China and Korea. When a country lost their rationality and basic respect to human rights, all the tragedies that later came with it can be seen as a retribution, a bad Karma.

And the majority of us Japanese people have to worry about stuff like tsunami’s and earthquakes. A kid died from being crushed by a brick wall when he was heading to school when an earthquake occurred. Peoples homes get swept away by heavy rain and the tsunamis killing so many people. I’m not saying Americans don’t have it worst but there’s something that you can at least escape from, while others can’t cause it’s occurring all around you.

My friend who is apart od the USMC is currently stationed in Japan. Coming from America, we love you Japan! We will defend you to the end! The past is the past and times have changed for the better and America loves your country. Same goes for you South Koreans, we Americans love you and your beautiful country. We will defend you and not let North Korea push all of us around. With all of us working together they have no chance but I don't wish any nuclear warfare upon them. I hope one day all of our countries can work together to free their people that are being tortured by his disgusting communist dictatorship. Just like how South Korea and Japan has joined us living in the 21st century developing incredible technology and the freedom to choose what you want to do with your life, I hope North Korea can do the same one day and get rid of the disgusting Kim Jong Un.

In the 80s during the cold war we used to do something similar in the US, we had school drills where we would line up in the hallway and face the wall with our hands behind our head to protect our heads from debris.
