watched the movie on acid in 4dx, first time forgetting I was watching a movie. felt like I put on vr glasses and got thrusted into another world. walked outside afterwards at 1am it was slightly raining and covered in fog. best cinema experience ever.
Now it became everybody‘s dream

I used to have a team - a marketing team, I named us "Ephraim Highlander" here in Indonesia. I took the inspiration from the tv series "The Highlander" back in 90s with Adrian Paul as the star. The philosophy was that I would not give up until I managed to build a team & lead them. "You never surrender. If you get killed, you will live again - unless you get beheaded. It's the time for you to die (to resign)." And turned on the CD player from Queen's Prince of the Universe' whenever I could. From 2001-2015. I learned a lot to interact with people. ✨

James Cameron is a master of story telling and cinema. Also seems like a very down to earth guy.
He had a lucid dream. Like McCartney when he wrote "Yesterday" And Robbie Williams when he wrote "Better Man." It's what human beings can do - if we want to really listen & see within. We have many capabilities & potencies we hardly know about ourselves. Those who learn about it, and then apply it; they're really excel in life. ✨
Avatar is a sanskrit word which means "descent" and different forms mainly pronounced as "avatara". And I don't understand what kind of dream he is talking about and plus he forgot to mention that Indian actor name Govinda who suggested him that name "Avatar"

Ok I'm starting to wonder if this was a real place mainly because I remember dreaming about a bioluminescent place too as a kid thought it was my imagination however these could be memories of a past life for all we know the fact he dreamt about it makes me wonder if this might've been a real place I mean what if we were dreaming of how Atlantis was and we have no idea why we're dreaming about it lol he was smart to turn it into a story and movie though 😂 💯 he should've named it something else though mainly cuz there was ALREADY an avatar I'm surprised Nickelodeon didn't try and sue him for using the name avatar lol 😂

James actually beat Nickolodeon to it in terms of copyrighting the name Avatar. That’s why the show is named Avatar: The Last Airbender instead of just Avatar.

What if.. as ludicrous as it sounds.. Aliens projected Jim Cameron to make this movie so that we as a specie gets slowly accustomed to the idea of Aliens and as well as living with them. Because one day they’ll just pop up and be like “Hello! We’re your new neighbors!”.

As cool as that sounds (and who knows, it could very well be the case…), I think that’s missing the point of the movie. It’s deeply spiritual and it’s a wake up call that we as a race have forgotten how to live in peace and harmony with our own world. We’ve isolated ourselves and forgotten how connected we are to a greater consciousness.

Indians think that? James himself explained in an interview how he drew inspiration from Hinduism. Because he has great deal of knowledge about it. The word Avatar is a Sanskrit word, taken from Hinduism, which means, incarnation. There’s also a mention of the word Amrita in Avatar 2, the fluid extracted from Tulkun which keeps you young forever. Amrita also is a Sanskrit word used in Hinduism, meaning “Elixir of immortality”. It’s what Hindu gods took to keep themselves young and beautiful and immortal. This elixir was extracted from the deep sea, by the greedy demon gods. The gods in Hinduism are all blue in tone, same as the avatars in the movie. There’s a lot more references in the movie, I don’t want to divulge.
Avatar characters have similarities to hindu god Shiva and goddess Kaali. Also, they remind me of a combination of tribal people.
