As a fellow Trinidadian, it's sad but true.

I never really got the concept of Jack Warner and Chuck Blazer's corruption scandals but after this, I understand everything. Thanks Kick for the great documentary

i wasnt born yet but every time my father speaks about that game the disapointment is still in his voice that game scared the minds of our people in our country who loves this beautiful game until we finaly qualified in 2006 i shed reals tears man

One of my former soccer coaches is from Trinidad. He has really made me like their team. They are not bad, and I really hope they qualify for 2018 WC.

@KICK TV. Study what happened when Mexico "sold themselves" in order for Trinidad and Tobago to make it to the playoff game in the road to Germany 2006. Mexico's coach at the time La Volpe was quoted saying they conceded to pressure from Warner

Many more untold stories... We were supposed to qualify in Costa Rica. Jack made sure a winning line up not be used. All Costa Rican news papers had Philbert Jones as the threat... the one who scored... Did he start against Costa Rica again...hell no, a bunch of "shit hounds" started that line up.

Soccer has been pushed down our throats since 94, and with the MLS, the world's best players can be sent here to play in the future. With no pro/rel it will be like the NBA. That will take contracts off europeans clubs books and they will make a profit and the teams will still be solid, just missing their top 3 players.

Copa90 should do one on CONCACAF favoritism for Mexico & USA, look at the Gold Cup & other CONCACAF tournaments

That game broke my heart as a kid.......Not to mention we used our 2nd string goal keeper and the took the best player(Yorke) off for the 2nd half. I knew that game was rigged once i grew older and learned about Jack Warner.

Thanks Kick I'm from Trinidad and Tobago and you opened my eyes to the corruption that is taking place in the sport that we young people love

It'' sad but both sides are right .I was 10 years old trying to go to that game and from what I can remember, so many people could not get in the game because of overcrowding that country was behind to team just like Panama during the last world cup cycle (losing to the US). Winning that game , help the US where I live now but , the lost for Trinidad was much more than that . the game was played 19 November 1989 , and what happen less than a year later . Jamaat al Muslimeen coup attempt July 27 to the 1st of Aug. 1990 (right after the world cup ). yes, the 1990 world cup was over , but don't you think the country would have had something to unite about if Trinidad played in that world cup . MAYBE we ill never know some can say Trinidad would have lost all their games but the same can be said about the USA going 0-3 in the group stage . I don't think the US would have hosted the 1994 world cup if they lost that game. i support both country's and there leagues @kicktv @kickone love Trinidad and USA Michael Critchlow MLS supports Barra Brava

i must say. i from Trinidad and Tobago and warner pumped money into other sectors of the country besides football. He was vital in the development of the country at community levels thought the use of the his (stolen) money.

It is just speculation that the US had to win the match and Jack Warner and referees were in on underming T&T's chances of winning the game. What is clear though that the decision to parade the players in boiling hot sun for such a distance was an attrocious one and the decision of the referee not to award a penalty was also bad. Also that Jack Warner over all hurt T&T football was just simply a fact.
