How It's Made: Steel Mountain Bike Frames with Starling Cycles

Спорт

We recently paid Starling Cycles a visit in their new Bristol, UK headquarters. While we were there, we thought we would take the opportunity to experience first-hand how a frame goes from the raw materials through to the finished product, and figured we would share that with you as we don’t imagine that many people are aware of all the little intricate steps involved in the process, and we think it’s pretty damn interesting. So, without further ado, let’s learn how to build a Starling front triangle.

Starling is just amazing, I don't own a Starling but always been fascinated by their work, knowledge brand, and of course their beautiful steel tubing. I'm also a big fan of their tech journal and I will definitely own a Starling in the near future. Cheers to Joe and the team.

It was rad seeing their process. Also the colour scheme of the bike at the end is clean as heck. Love when the rear triangle is a different color than the front

We tested the Murmur a few years back for an article - hit the site to check it out. We should also have their new Mega Murmur coming to test shortly, so stay tuned for that one!

Starling rear triangles are not made in the same facility, and they are painted externally too, so we were unable to access these processes to film.
