Nobody does unhinged better than Glenn Howerton.
I dont think theres any actor who does a better job transitioning from other emotions into rage. He's also one of the best angry actors around but specifically the way he makes the transition is legitimately unmatched.
I feel bad that Howerton didn't get any recognition for the performance

The moment where Dee locked in Dennis's room and touches his alarm clock only for It activates laptop with his "Hello, Sexual Conquest" monologue was hilarious.

They marketed this movie wrong. They made it look like some corporate worship movie. If they showed how unhinged Glen Howerton's character would be it would have done better.

Glen just created a new genre of typecasting 😂 the screaming crazy psychopath character
@mully006
12 күн бұрын
I mean Jack Nicholson also has this typecast to me.
He could've been a phenomenal lex Luthor. I would've loved to see him act opposite Henry cavill. I hope James Gunn casts him as a villain in the dcu.
He literally manifested this when he said "I AM UNTETHERED AND MY RAGE KNOWS NO BOUNDS" 😂😂
Dennis freaking out is one of the greatest parts of Sunny, so if that's the energy he brings to Blackberry then I really need to see this movie.
It's frustrating to see this mans talent be ignored by the greater industry. The guy should be mainstream movies right now but it seems every project he gets into just fizzles out every time. One day, hopefully, something will hit the mark and he'll get the praise that he deserves.
I love Always Sunny and I went to university at Waterloo when RIM was the talk of the town and had yet to, ahem, peak. So watching Blackberry was like worlds colliding for me. Nice exploration of Howerton's performance.
@EntertainTheElk

That’s so cool! And thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Glenn Howerton is an absolute god and it was amazing seeing him in Blackberry, went into it as a Matt Johnson fan and had no idea he'd be in it let alone as amazing as he was. Always Sunny is one of my favorite shows ever with Dennis being my second favorite behind Charlie, and Dennis Takes A Mental Health Day turned out to be one of those episodes that shocks me that the show is still as good as it as considering how long it's been going on. Glenn Howerton deserves lead actor in something big and whenever he gets it I will be there.
@chilibeer3912
Ай бұрын
Some might say he is a golden god.
He'll probably end up cast as the joker or some badass complicated Supervillain
A.P. Bio is also GOLD. Concerning talented actor...
oh dang, I recognized some of those methods in myself. like getting angry to maintain control of a situation. that's not good. gotta be mindful of that
People like to focus on Dennis, but Dee is pretty evil too, I mean remember what she did with that male stripper and his daughter… no wonder Dee and Dennis are twins lol
This video perfectly describes why I want Glenn Howerton to play Owen Reese (Molecule Man) in the MCU. Basically a crazy god-level reality warping villain, who's also basically a living nuke with the explosive potential of the entire universe.

Great vid. Great edit for the mid-video ad, I started to skip forward but then went right back to watch the whole thing. It was that you incorporated the theme of the video straight into the product, great idea. The lip-flab when you're talking about your dining room chair was a little weird, but nbd. Great video over all. Looking forward to the long one coming soon!
@EntertainTheElk

Hey thanks! not sure what you mean by lip-flab. I was just using a clip from year's ago of me sitting in my old chair as an example of the dining room chair I used to work in.
@markparq6365

I meant “lip flap” (I guess I have always talked about it and never written it)😂 meaning to see someone’s mouth moving on screen that is not in sync with what is being spoken. Because I thought you had cut to yourself talking straight to camera like you do at the end of videos, because it ALMOST lined up with what you were saying, but after a couple of seconds, I realized it was just an old clip, like you just clarified. Regardless, thumbs up on this one. It shows you did a LOT of research for this one.

One of my favorite Dennis Reynolds moments is when he "jokingy" gestures that he's strangling Muareen and Glenn Howerton takes Dennis from inconvenienced, to hateful, to desperate in about three seconds.
Your selection of Glen clips is 🤌✨
It's too bad all the corproate history movies last year drowned out Blackberry. I think if it came out now more people would see how great it is.

Yeah you’re totally right. Lots of corporate history movies last year.
He is such an incredible actor and he NEVER gets enough credit
This was great. I love Sunny. Every actor Sunny is underrated. And they got the best bloopers since it's mostly ad-libbed.
The Chris Farley SNL sketch where he's told he's drinking decaf.
I've never even heard of Blackberry! But as a huge longtime fan of Always Sunny, I'm immediately looking it up after I finish this video. Glenn deserves all the flowers!
You’re transition into that ad was so smooth I’m not even mad
Well done..!!

Glenn is so underrated by general audiences. This video does a great job capturing what makes him such a talented actor.
This was such a good movie. Watched it with a buddy of mine on Discord.
I’m so glad the camera was able to stay on Glen so closely and for so long in BlackBerry, really made me appreciate his work
Possibly the best intro into a sponsored section honestly thought you had a point to his acting skill based off of chairs

I loved your Segway into the add
I haven't watched the video yet but my best answer to the video title's question is this: THEY GOT GLENN HOWERTON.
I enjoyed the iteration of his gifts in A.P. Bio.

Waterloo where the vampires hangout is gold what a call back I hope ppl get the reference
Glenn really channeled his inner Vic Vinegar for this role. It was glorious.
This was a great video idea! His performance really was incredible. Completely forgot it was him. Unfortunately, he is so recognized as mainly one character in comedy, and I think that affected people willing to take the role seriously.
