Agreed. I designed and built some electronics using the CR2032 and to ensure people can easily get batteries for the device I checked all the local stores for availability. At least here in Australia, every supermarket, convenience store, petrol (gas) station, auto store, hardware store, chemist/pharmacy, etc. all sold them. Other benefit is they're lithium primary so they last a long time sitting around and no dreaded leaking like alkaline batteries.

Great camera and always happy to see brandon reviewing camera stuff ^^ I personally really dont like sideways flipout screen. Imagine you want to take a quick low or high picture. you have to flip out the screen, rotate it, take the pic, rotate it back and flip it in. With the normal sony one i just have to pull it out and angle it a bit and i can take pics from low or high angles. Also with screens on the side the person recording himself often looks to the side not on the top. Looking up or over the camera looks more natural and like thinking about what to say or do. My personal choice would be the standard sony tilt up/down mechanism but with 180° up and 180° down range and that mounted on a big hinge to rotate it out to the side if needed. I really liked the older Sony mechanism on the a77I/II or a99I/II. It had two parallel hinges and one rotating hinge and was able to be visible from every side
That was very informative and very well done. Thank you!

This lofi background music is pretty nice, got it right if you ask me!
I don't vlog but I am looking for a new camera I can use as a webcam during my livestreams, this sounds like it might fit the bill though you did complain about the speed at which it charges. Can it be used without a battery plugged in, while connected to a power source?
That battery bank is probably only 2amp,at most.. Did the camera come with a wall wart? What was the rated amps on it? While charging through the camera sucks, it's viable if they include the correct charger with the package.
A CR2032 is actually one of the most popular button cell type batteries. So yea, you can find them in almost any grocery or convenience store.
Whats the dynamic range like. Could you use it for quick cinematic b roll shots?
I like this Super thorough review.
hi brandon, should i sell my G85 lumix to get this? Or would there be no huge improvements.
is it possible to use the camera without the battery and just the usb cable plugged to a charger?
Hey Brandon, the CR2032 batteries are definitely common enough to pick up in grocery stores in Europe.
6:15 no you can find them everywhere, go to Walmart, Target, ... if you go on Ebay get maybe 10x of them for less than a dollar each.
I know it is not the normal type of content you guys do but I would totally like to see a photography 101 video by Brandon explaining what all of the different features are and do on a camera.
Thorough review of a camera with in-depth analysis, showing features and comparing to other options: 👍 Not showing an example of 960 fps recording with something being dropped in slow motion by playing it in 30 fps: 👎 9.9/10, would watch again if the suggested content is added.
Hey Brandon, how does this compare to the G7X that canon is trying to push under the same target audience of vloggers
I just bought a batch of like 20 CR2032s online for about $7. They may not be everywhere, but they are cheap if you can find them or are willing to wait on shipping.
