Exaclty,it can't be this good.Its food when you get uptiered.And from my experience you will be uptiered 8/10 battles.Now you can avoid all aspect and high G missiles if you head on the enemy but if you get a F5C/Mig-21/Mirage 3 and others on your tail,you will have no fun.

with my f8u-2 the mig 23 and the f100 are always free kill

I didn't have such a good time grinding this plane, but you should try running 1x FFAR pod as a "poor man's" flare - definitely saved me quite a few times. You wont eat it to those 9d's with them.

I’ve been grinding with the French variant which sadly does not get the 9E however I still really like flying it once you learn its quirks you can compete with mig 21’s and f104s

Man i love the F-100, Specifically the D variant. It's overpowered in everything... Except low speed manouverability, at least you get combat flaps below 600 kmph, lower then that you really feel the plane turning into a brick.

Oh yeah, and at high speed you get a lot of energy retention since you don't really turn hard enough to bleed speed.

I’m a little bit sceptical of your opinion of the missiles although as I’m writing this you do say 3km is good distance but I’d never shoot one at 4 unless the enemy is super duper slow I’d shoot a 9G at 4km but not a 9E, the F-100 is super sluggish stock I ended up using it at base bomber just to get the 9Es and some decent flight performance mods, spaded though i find it usable I like the guns they hit hard, I still need to spade the French one and the Chinese A version and I got finish the Chinese F version as well but I don’t think they will be a hassle for me despite the fact I’m super rusty in air at the moment been heavy on the ground grind lately

You should leave the radar off until you’re ready to fire if you out use it at all. All it does is warn your targets you’re there through their RWR.

I love how wildly missile balance varies between planes and nations. You've got Japan and many others with 0-2 aim 9Bs around 9.0 and then this guy appears - how about 4 aim9e's? :D well, aside from the uncaged seeker it's trash anyway so I don't think it matters in terms of balance, but it's sort of wild. Same with that german premium with 4 aim9bs at 8.something.

I just got this and I'm wondering if it's somewhat decent stock? I want to use it to grind the F4C after I spade the F104C but I won't bother if the stock grind is awful. update: All of my free repairs have been wasted because i keep getting R60'd. It can't turn, has bad speed and missiles. How is this viable at all??

in a full downtier yes, its very strong. But the second you face other supersonics its absolutely horrible in most aspects

@@aleski6506 well everything does bad in uptiers that is not really an argument, 90% of what you’re fighting at 9.3 is gonna be sub sonic planes with no more than 2 aim 9Bs Like compare it to the sabre which is sub sonic, only gets 2 aim 9Bs, less powerfull engine, and only advantage being slightly better turn time Fun fact that is precisely why Gaijin is currently moving every Sabre and every mig 15 down by 0.3BR. I’m not saying it’s a good solution but in general this BR is an unbalanced mess

@@alextonev3017 90% of 9.3 is mig19s and f104s, not subsonics. No not every plane does bad in a uptier either F86 sabre doesnt turn "slightly" better than the F100. The regular sabre is probably the best subsonic airframe in the game after something like the Ariete

Lots of practice. Also a helpful tip is especially when you are still learning, don't conserve ammo. Make sure you are throwing enough rounds down range to get a hit, even if it means spending a lot of your ammo on 1 target. Better to get 1 and have 0 ammo left than to try and conserve ammo and get 0

I’ve never gotten a kill with it and I play much higher BRs and do much better, like the A-10 late and the f-4e I don’t have full top tier yet

You shot's well but turn off the afterburner when missile go after your ass

4:01 you almost evaded the missile but you should have just flown straight cause no aim 9g is hitting an f100 flying away at Mach 1 that is 3km away

Bro, sorry but... what are you smoking? 9.3 a plane with 10G missiles, no chaffs, no flares, playing every game against mig-21 that go mach 1,20 at sea level with radar missiles, and jas35 with 20G AAMs. If 9.3 is not fair then what would you give it? 9.7? 10.0? 😊

I like the f100 because it’s the plane John Boyd taught in mostly when he was teaching at Nellis, he was the father of modern dogfighting tactics. He gave us the F-15, and F-16(He was THE pilot who was consulted to make both of them and had a lot to do with both of their designs and had more input on the F-16, When Macnamara brought him in to save his F-111, he said that even though he has never made an aircraft before, he could fuck up and still make a better bird than the F-111). And a lot of people don’t know but it was his plan General Schwarzkopf used in desert storm. The general called him in before the operation started and showed him the original plans, and Mr. Boyd said instantly,” Hey diddle diddle straight up the middle” and then changed it completely to the operation we know today and the General took all the credit for it.

I wish you would show this from inside the cockpit. This view is just unrealistic.

I absolutely hate this plane. It bricks up and won't turn with any amount of speed, has dogwater weapons, and is flareless at a br where u can see aim 9 Ls.

Learn to barrel roll to dodge missles

the f 100 can be so good when not in a uptier i ounce made 7 (or 8) kills in it but that was also posible due to good postioning a small tip from me you can bring some of the small rocket pods to use a make shift flares they sometimes work sometimes not

its slow asf compaired to other planes at the same rating
