I started intuitive eating, or mindful eating, in 2021. It not only led to weight loss but also a better relationship with food & my body. Here’s what has worked for me! #intuitiveeating #fitness

Quitting the clean plate club is one of my biggest challenges. It’s revolutionary to stop and think about if I’m done eating when there is still food on my plate! I feel so much better when I don’t stuff myself and as a bonus, my weight comes down. It takes practice though. 😊

I feel you on this and I am so glad I found your channel! I have tried every diet out there, and with some, I lost 60 pounds, but, the restrictions of these diets actually made me paranoid to the point I began eating MORE out of guilt and many other factors. But my problem was all psychological. I ate more/gained weight because I thought too hard on my restrictions to the point it actually did more bad than good. “I CANT have this, so I better eat it all right now.” Compared to, “I have plenty and I can have this whenever I want, so, I’ll have a small piece.” This channel is perfect for me. Thank you. 🙏

Don’t blame yourself for the diet not working, it’s not your “psychological” issues. It’s that diets cannot work long term and are proven to fail for 93-95% of people, and most not only regain the weight, they gain more (it’s called weight cycling, it’s the effect of any diet long term unless you happen to be one of those 5% unicorns). So it’s not you, it’s the diet, and the lies we’ve all been told that they are effective. They’re not, they’re just effective at keeping diet businesses in business.

I think people also should try mindful eating, mixing intuitive eating with mindful eating. For example, you place a big size of food in your plate, while eating mindfully, you’ll realize when you feel full and actually stop before you finish all of it. But it depends on the person tho. There might be people that actually need to eat alot but it doesn’t matter. Intuitive eating is not for weight loss

It's frustrating how so many people are (without realizing it) promoting the occult under the guise of "self-care." Yoga is not exercise.

Occult??? You may want to look up the meaning of the word. She’s not using ouija boards or something… And clearly you’ve never actually done yoga, it absolutely is exercise. It can be “omg I’m dead and I can’t move and just leave me here for the next hour in a puddle” hard exercise, depending on the type of yoga and intensity (and level). Is there way more to yoga than “just” exercise, yeah of course, but it’s not “occult” and nor is meditation, your comment is so odd for so many reasons. But hey, thanks for leaving a comment so it boosts the video in the algorithm so people like me can find it, it was interesting.

@@peacockandfig I did yoga back in 2015, if I remember right. Not long after I started, I woke up in the night to a truly bizarre experience. There was a black shadow spirit near me, simulating sex with what looked like half a woman. Another black shadow spirit jumped about on my bed, speaking to me in another language. Somehow, I knew it was trying to talk me into consenting to sex with it. I was irritable and I resisted for a long time until they finally went away. After that experience, I researched yoga and learned that some people had demonic experiences from doing it. At some point, I also learned that at least some yoga poses (asanas) are specifically meant to salute different Hindu deities, and the whole thing is a Hindu religious ritual.
