He says that the Dubai people are sharing and will give you gifts and boy he isn't kidding. One of my friends dad is a doctor that treated someone VIP's wife from Dubai and the husband asked the Doctors wife if the doctor (my friends dad) had any hobbies. (They rented out an entire floor of the hospital btw) So my friend's mom says the doctor likes to play golf and loves golf clubs. The Dubai man says great! Anyway, the treatment finished and the Dubai VIP's went home. My friends parents actually spent a lot of time with the couple saying they were alot of fun. A few months had passed and they got a letter from the Dubai couple saying they apologized for the delay but they were having a hard time finding the right golf clubs, but they finally found them and could be picked up in Michigan which is hundreds of miles away. The couple bought them 2 entire country clubs and the reason it took so long is they had a hard time finding 2 near each other for sale. Swear to God. It's true.

The compliment thing is actually real and its all over the Gulf countries and it happened to me in Qatar. It was when I innocently complimented my friend's $17k Rolex, as it was really nice, and the next thing I see is him taking it off, putting it on my wrist and saying "It looks good on you, keep it". And they would actually be really disrespected if you reject it or anything as they think you're thinking that their act of generosity is fake or you're being too arrogant. 2 days later I met him again, and he got the "upgraded" $23k version of that watch. So as he said in the video they know that money comes and go

A lot of Arabs ( not necessarily Muslims ) drink an insane amount and do a bunch of drugs in Dubai. The Majority of the time though it's visitors from Iran, Lebanon and Egypt that do all the clubbing and drinking in Dubai. From what I've seen the majority of Emirati locals are religious and really care about their public image so you won't see many of them chugging down bottles of alcohol or dancing with some eastern European prostitutes. Let me remind you though, every country has their own bad apples, and so there are some Emirati's that do indeed drink and club a lot.

Not exactly the same.. but a buddy of mine in high school was shopping around for a cheap truck.. found a 92 f150 in this gorgeous electric blue sort of color but a little lighter. Turns out the guy was getting a divorce.. posted the truck for like 900.. my buddy had 800 cash on him, and the guy just watched how much he loved the truck. He said you still in school? Yea he replied. The guy said just take it.. still amazes me to this day... i wish that would happen to me...lol

Even the "average" citizens seems to live well above world standard. I once attend a summit for university student held in Abu Dhabi, our Emiratis student tell us that she just got a driving license and her parents bought her E-Class convertible, we are all in awe but she and her friends said that Mercedes is a common car, not just that she invited all my female friends (because male beside relatives can't visit another female house) to her house and it's a very large house, and she said her house is average. The level of wealth there is crazy (Not surprising since education until university, all the health care including dental is paid by the government, but only if you are full blood Arab Emiratis)

AutoMotion Digital yeah but words have meaning, and we use specific words for a reason. Iran is a theocracy, UAE is not (and religion is pervasive in all aspects of middle east culture, to them it's not usually much of an imposition and most (key word 😂) Gulf states have decent rights productions for non-Muslims and expats). But yeah, pretty much everyone in the royal families, even not major members, are friggin' loaded 😂

Except the UAE government does not rule on "divine right" the way many historical European monarchs have. UAE culture, similar to most of the Middle East, is tribal in origin. The ruling families are merely in power as they, in a way, claimed tribal dominance in the area.

living in dubai I can confirm this, and this isnt only in the UAE its in all of the GCC countries. Also shoutout to Bill, i'm Lebanese here too. Edit: Also Dubai's economy does not rely on oil anymore (Just a little) most of their wealth is from tourism now. Also for everyone saying enjoy the oil money while it lasts, Dubai is investing in Expo 2020 to increase tourism, Saudi Arabia just spent $500 billion on the tourism industry and shifting its laws around to appeal to western tourists. Kuwait is also next in line. So these countries are all set ma dudes they aint goin nowhere.

Actually, most nissan patrols have the Tb48 inline 6 (comes standard) and it’s popular for modifying. The one in the grand tour was like a unique build and it’s basically a Gtr with a patrol body.

WADE BRADLEY idk what nissan is doing in States. We have the same safari version of the patrol only for GCC with dual diff locks. 4x4. It is real beauty.. Plus i saw in states they just introduced downgraded of patrol as Armada. We have those since 2012 and much more better looking with more offroad capabilities. Even we have a nismo version here.

Yeah some high schools have nice cars. My school had a few G63s, Cayennes and whatnot but that's pretty standard. The best car was probably an Audi R8 V10 alongside a Maserati Grand Sport and California.

Absolutely crazy! I actually heard about getting cash or amazing things when complimenting their citizens. Obviously I scoffed at this notion. I was dead wrong. It definitely says a lot about their people. Most of us simply thank another for a compliment. These men see you as a friend by doing so. It’s very rare for a human to be that humble in todays word. “Things” obviously do not matter near as much to them as friendship does. Very cool indeed.
