I'm Malaysian and I didn't even know we have this type of tribe. My grandmother and my mother used to live in a Kampung house nearby the river but they have moved out from there and live in the more modernized town then city of Sabah. This documentary intimately definitely is eye opening. Thank you for filming this and showing to the world. Much love and respect.
I still remember when I was 34 years old. I stayed and lived with the Agta in the sierra Madre in palanan Isabela Philippines. Once one of the most dense virgin forests some 28 years ago. I stayed with my friend Lakab family for 10 straight months. I lived like them. It was a humbling experience in my life. I learned the real jungle survival as hunters and fishers. This was the best and most fulfilling part of my life. I am now 63 years old today. Everything is still fresh in my heart and mind. Yangka Tomo Lakab.

This is what I wish all of humankind had not forgotten... their humble beginnings and being connected to their surroundings along with respecting all of nature and one another!
Proud to be Malaysian, we still have them, that we called "orang asli" and they are so kind! The weapon we called as "Sumpit" they usually used for enemy/hunt ..Some orang asli are modern too but half of them still live in their tribes..thanks for this documentary , not many people know about their lifestyle, this is my first time see their amazing tribes.

As someone who studies cultural & forensic anthropology, it is so interesting to the see the indigenous groups of people across the world look so similar, yet unique in their own right, while in different regions.
I like how the hunters are not selfish and share the food to the entire village. The unity and care for each other amaze me.

Thanks to Hayden for bringing this video out to the public domain. As Papua New Guinean, I see these indigenous people looking more like PNGns and even West Papua. It is indeed thrilling to know we have our brothers & sisters in this part of the world.

I enjoyed your video very much. I used to drive along the road here, best view ever, surrounding by heavy forest and big lakes. Did you know, once upon a time ago, a British officer decided to live here with the natives, his name is Hubert Burkeley. He also helped us to get a big chuck of territories from Siam (now Thailand) because he fell in love with the culture of the people that live here, and felt responsible to take it from Siam for us.

Hoping that the western world learns that there's nothing to envy about life in the cities these people are perfectly adapted to survive, their way of life shall be preserved, Their land, their cultural heritage respected , the way we are going, we may one day need their expertise after we blow our world, we will depend on them to survive, and I pray they will still be alive to help us, the same goes to all indigenous cultures of the world ! Speaking of privilege , yes you ought to feel privileged, there are many of us around the world who dream of wearing your shoes, so milk it for all is worth and. HELP THEM ,so their land Is not taken by useless idiots!!!!!!

In India there is a tribe called Munda, they are genetically closely related to Mah Meri and Temuan people of Malaysia. According to linguist Paul Sidwell, Munda languages arrived on the coast of Odisha from Southeast Asia about 4000-3500 years ago. The Munda people are an Austroasiatic speaking ethnic group of India. They predominantly speak the Mundari language as their native language, which belongs to the Munda subgroup of Austroasiatic languages. They are similar to the Soliga, Paniya and Kanikkaran tribes of India.

No they don't. Indians indigenous are Shemite, these pacific indigenous are Japheth seeds. No relations. And Africa indigenous are Hamites. Japheth children hair are different from Shem. Shem has long straight hair and these have all kind even like Africans but they have softer kind and Africans have one kind.
Amazing how they can walk thru the woods without boots. When I saw they walked by a needle bush just give me chill. Those hunters have strong lungs, not six packs arm muscles.
Great tribe..
That 1 guy went to a similar place & helped them design homemade blockades to stop them. I think it might be here, the gov put a bounty on him. Sure enough, he left & came back from Europe but hasn't been seen since. A warning to ppl helping the cause of these righteous ppl. Which is simply leave their land alone.
