I will absolutely blame Mohun Bagan Super Giants for this bloating of Salary of Indian players. The MBSG management overpay each player and for that if any other team wants to acquire the player they have to pay even more. If you look majority of the overpaid players are from Mohun Bagan Super Giants and few from other clubs in the ISL.

Same happens in international club level also, real madrid throughout his legacy, man city recently, psg also, these are the club who always try to build the best team by money, But the negative part in india is that it's limitating the quality of football in India

The facts that our hockey team which is ranked 4th in the world and brings medal after medal year after year without much support apart from one state earns less than 15 lakhs per year and these guys are payed in crores or atleast 70 lakhs is embarrassing

Why are loss-making clubs paying so much? MB bought midfielders like a crazy gambler and now they have to sit on bench while being the highest paid players in the league. It makes no sense to spend crores on this mediocre players. They need to focus on sustainability or else many clubs would gi bankrupt after a while.

the only way to improve the quality of indian football is to increase the number of active players in domestic circuit. a proper system of u12,14,16,18 in each and every district through a school program and player at all level should play at least of 40 matches so it not only improves game time but helping every state federation to make a pool 120 to 150 active players who than compete at national level to reach a level where we are able to select our national team from a pool of top 3000 players all over India. It's a long process but it will surely bring the best talent to represent at International level.

Thank you Dhanraj Bhai for this much needed eye opening video. I have been saying this for years now that ISL is overrated and Indian players are overpaid. The day this bubble bursts then the Indian football players are gonna be left on the streets. All thanks to Goenka and MBSG for pumping money and inflating the market. Paying these low skilled players 3-4 times the money they deserve. That's why they don't want to go abroad and hustle. I see a lot of players who haven't even represented India ask for 1cr+ salary. Except for a few exceptional players like Changte, Mahesh, Anwar Ali, Sahal etc. no player should get a salary more than 30-40 lakh per annum.

I know 2-3 players personally if they gets offers from europe they will definitely ready to go 1.l.chhangte, 2.liston.c and 3. Sandesh.j they are ready anytime I attended their training session mcfc des and chhangte was speaking about europe opportunity for chhangte and sandesh has dream to go and play in europe , liston also has dream to play in europe.
