Well you'll always be in demand for services as long as you keep paying employees slave wages like currently, goods however the main exports of India are cow leather, beef, tobacco and tea, the tobacco industry is already dying slowly, Indian cars aren't good enough to beat the vast amount of competition and India doesn't really have the means to start a mobile phone brand, the competition is way too big and you won't make better mobiles than America, Korea, China or Japan ever. This is not really the step forward India needs, the poverty rates are continuing to grow higher and higher, what India needs to do is stop helping make the 0.01% of India richer, bring in a proper minimum wage, and start helping the poor.

Recently I also came upon a fact that the corporate tax levied in India is 42% and the personal tax is around 38%... compared to this, UAE has almost zero tax. This also plays a major role wherein even small businesses may shift to foreign countries for tax benefits.. If this is looked into.. we may create more opportunities for small and big players alike
