That's a great story, brought back a lot of great memories of binging on Drake & Josh back when I was in school. I got interested to start playing guitar after watching the show lol. Although I started playing at the age of 27 but I got obsessed with guitars after watching that show, especially with the sexy cherry red Fender Stratocaster which Drake plays throughout the show. The very sight of that guitar captivated me and motivated me to start playing. I should've started from school, but it's never too late I guess. Now with a steady paying job, owning a Fender Stratocaster is still in my bucket list. Let's see when that dream becomes a reality.

He is so musically connected and talks about it so well. Guitar skills uGHH
stay strong drake! better days are yet to come, and thank you for making us all laugh growing up
I have no idea why but this song pops into my head, especially in the shower. It represents such a fun time in my life and in TV. Really cool to hear this story. And much love and respect to you, Drake.
It wasn't your fault. You are amazing.

You just settled a 20 year old argument! I was on team "realign" and my sister was on team "realize."
I always enjoyed this song. I indeed had that thought, "omg Drake & Josh is on!"
Like many fans, I’ve re listened to your telegraph album on replay since QOS & all I can say is wow! Your music speaks so much about what you went through & it sounds like you’ve only just connected this song to that period in your life (as well as to the premise of D&J) but it’s s true, this I you’re fightback anthem in 2003! Your decision to go public, I truly admire that and I’m sure it will help lot people. I hope the past few years are behind you & you’re looking forward & a lot of fans are 💯% with you

I remember watching you on Drake and Josh and I still watch you to this day especially on the Amanda show you made my childhood awesome because of the shows and you are amazing Drake I love watching you on Nickelodeon and I still do today. I am glad that you got to sing the theme song to Drake and Josh and it’s still catchy tune today I’m glad that you wrote it, I love you

Would love for these types of chill sort of story/tour vids to become a regular thing! It's awesome! Funny how iconic this show is despite it being quite short for a sitcom, just goes to show how many iconic memorable moments were packed into each and every episode. Hell yeah. Looking forward to more frequent uploads! Rock and Roll!
thanks for this video, drake! Drake & Josh made huge success here in brazil, it was one of my favorite shows!
I'm crying a lot Drake is a great person, I just found out what he suffered and this video moves me because that song was the first one I learned without knowing English, I'm from Colombia and I wish you the best.
What an awesome story. This song is my childhood, you guys were my childhood. You were so brave deciding to compose the theme song yourself, and later showing it to the producers, something that sometimes can feel so intimate and insecure about. Actually really inspiring!

What great chord progressions on this tune. Very well written piece of music.
Wow, watching this video just gave me flashback to my childhood. I remember buying your first actual CD with all your music and I was hooked almost immediately. Here I am, 28 yrs old and still a fan. Well done.
