How I Use DIGITAKT // Tips for beat making and composition

Музыка

This video is a run through of how I typically use the Digitakt, followed by a few audio examples. It's a quick tutorial where I run through some of my favorite sound design techniques, rhythmic ideas, and ways of the using the LFO. As always, let me know your thoughts and additions. I'd be curious to hear what you are doing differently, other ideas, sound design possibilities, sequencing things I'm not taking advantage of, etc...let's talk.

My favorite thing to do is sample a single source, and highly manipulate it, making a complete track. It isn't easy, and you really have to manipulate the heck out of the sounds, but it creates an overall color that's hard to deny.

I love the subtle variation via the LFO to slightly change the sample start time....really cool. Your personal sound library is awesome, great sound design. This track is so simple but it doesn't sound like anyone else and that's what it's all about, your own voice! .So glad I found your channel, looking forward to experiencing more your other KZreads.

I still haven't checked out Eurorack yet, how do you go about syncing the modules with the Digitakt? I assume a module that accepts MIDI in so that clock can be sent, but then where does the clock go from there, CV and sequencer modules?
