@@mitchellminer4596 lol, she looks amazing!!... You beat me to it lol, that's what I was planning next for the Typhon, going GT body! 😄 Cuz it's the only way I will be able to fit 8S. The problem I was having is that I couldn't find a body to fit the stretched body wheel base. So I was seriously considering shrinking her back down to fit a GT body & gain the lipo space. The limitless will definitely be going GT this winter, it's mod time here in the east coast lol, if we can't ride, we modify! 😁

@@mitchellminer4596 nope, too long & the the regular Typhon body is too small, the wheel base is an in-between 1/7 & 1/8. I'm using the kraton LWB chassis on my Typhon. I wish delta would make a body for this custom car as it's a pretty popular build. Heck, they even make custom pinocchio spools for the stretched Typhon. RamJam is even sending me a pair of 6mm Titanium center bones for the stretched Typhon, 116mm & 135mm. I should contact Delta & see if they can consider a GT body for the stretched Typhon.

Can I place an order NOW for that XLX2 mount you got there? Name your price!! LOL (but I'm dead ass serious). I'm building a Senton 8S and got an angled XLX2 mount off EBay that works OK but you have to take the whole thing apart to change the center diff. You could make a small fortune selling pieces like that.

😂👌Thanks a lot buddy! I’ll look into that , I would have to get some more Carbon fiber. I could definitely make another and now be able to make it better than that one. Never thought anyone would want to by a part I made👍👍 I’m grateful for your interest! There are a few things I’ve run into with using it but that’s with a 1721 that I’m using , a smaller motor you won’t have as much an issue , like it limits you to gearing a little bit because it reduces the amount that you can slide motor in , which then you have to either run a slightly larger spool gear or pinion either or. Also you would need a Hot Racing center top plate for spool , the one that the bearing retainers bolt to top plate. Only needing the bearing retainers not the plate because carbon fiber will replace that. But let me see about getting more materials and if your really interested, I’ve received a few other questions about the car and may do a follow up vid about it in a little more detail on how I made other things work👍👍

@@mitchellminer4596 I'll be waiting for the video. Scorched makes something similar for the Talion/Kraton chassis that works as a center brace but it hooks to the steering rack like yours except they use 11mm spacers so it sits on top of the motor mount and slightly above the steering rack. There's a slight curve on theirs near the motor so you can move the motor in closer. They don't make it for the Typhon though. I've been going towards all SWB cause it seems more stable with the drive train when you put bigger power to it (I guess cause of the shorter center dog bones). I've been having more luck with the SWB. I'd pay for your piece today if that was possible! Are you on the Arrma Forum? If not you should check it out...lots of good info there and you could sell the part on there once you perfect it.

If ya ever decide to go senton6 suspension I got good links on senton6 parts.lmk..I run all senton6 suspension on my gt cars.narrower, lighter, less driveshaft vibrations and better clearance on gt bodys..lots of 325mm delta dody options compared to 1/7..remember a tp5670 will also fit, absolutely love my 1270kv in swb....less rpm range makes swb more controllable than the higher rpm motors..curious on weight diffrence between swb an your silver bullet???..BTW I've run 150s with stock typhon centershafts..ramjam has swb titanium shafts for like 35$$

@@danb.4571 once you change front shock mount and lower hinge pin holders it works, however with the infraction there are two rear mounting holes that would bolt to the chassis. You could drill holes through the typhon chassis for mounting but for ground clearance there is some trimming that needs to be done. However multiple people have asked about the build so I may be making a video going into more detail for your question and others.
