How to tame a bird.
This is how I tamed my Alexandrine parrot within 15 - 20 days.
step by step, day after day
Kiwi stopped baiting me after 3 weeks. I had a difficult time with him for the first 2 weeks.

He is beautiful ❤ My Indian ring neck didn’t get his ring until he was almost two years old.

Yes, he is beautiful! I was going to buy Indian ring neck, but here in Auckland are banned . You can't keep them. Then, I decided for Alexandrine parrot . A bigger version of Indian ring neck. He is awesome, and I have so much fun. He is over 4 months old. Still too young for his ring.

@@DusanDevecka-ps2eb my daughter had a male Alexandrine years ago in high school. His name was Gypsy. He was a great bird with a large vocabulary. He used to call the dogs to go outside. Made me laugh 😂

What treat do you give kiwi? My Alexandrine doesn't seem to be interested in treats.

Number one is walnuts. He just loves them, but I have to make sure that he doesn't eat too many. Otherwise, he also loves watermelon seeds, sunflower seeds, and almonds. And he hates pumpkin seeds. ( green one) . I'm not sure why your alexandrine doesn't like treats. 🤔 only the way is if you overfeeding. If my Kiwi eat too much, he has no any interest in any seed or nuts. But this happened only a few times since I got him. Maybe 3-4 times

More time you spend with your bird, more will trust you. Every day after work I am spending 3 hours with my Kiwi. Saturday and Sunday, 4 -5 hours. He is always sitting on my shoulders. It doesn't matter what I do, cleaning, cooking, eating, computer or phone, watching TV...etc. if he is not happy , he will tell me straight the way , like this afternoon. He can get so angry but no more biting. He just screams and tells me to leave him alone.. He trusts me too much and never hurt me again. He is a good boy now. But I have to say , the first 2 months with him it wasn't as sweet as I thought before I bought him. 🙂🦜.

@@mamubig5313 when she bites you. There is some reason why. For example, my Kiwi used to bite me when i had only one light on in my room, or when he didn't sleep well the night before or when he didn't eat in the morning much just a little bit, or for example alexandrine hormone period it took him 3 weeks he was so aggressive, maybe next time when she try to bite you just look around and think what is wrong, it could be you did some fast movement and she got scared or some noises from outside, Kiwi was scared of some noises coming from my garden like screaming birds, or from the street like loud motorbikes, cars, walking and talking people on the street.... maybe she has some health issue. i don't know, it's hard to say from me. When she is on your shoulder, give her some treat like a little piece of walnuts, talk to her a good girl, good girl. this is what i did with my Kiwi

Well. I hope Kiwi is a male. I really wanted male because they are better talker. He is getting a day, 15 min talking training. I didn't want to do any DNA because you needed 3-4 feathers with blood, and I didn't want to hurt my Kiwi baby. But if it is a female , I am still happy. 🦜
