Lovely hair. Had a good laugh when you were saying, your hair holds shape really good because it's fine, because my fine hair doesn't want to hold shape at all

It's because it's naturally wavy. Wavy/curly hair grips on to the shape very well. Straight hair is much more difficult.

@@thepreppyminimalistI was going to say the same. It’s because it’s already curly, so it wants to keep that shape. My fine hair also falls out fast because it’s straight

Dear Emma, as a woman, who has dyed her hair about twenty years, I can tell you that it’s always better to let it be done by a very good hairdresser! If we get “ older “ the colour of our skin is changing, darker hair colour makes us look pale. Next bad thing is, if grey hair is appearing more and more, the white or grey stripe is more visible with darker hair! I then began to dye with dark blond colours and chose weaker percentage of the chemicals. Next problem is the sun that changes the dyed hair into some orange colour! I hated it! Now I’m totally grey and I’m going to have lowlights or highlights, depending on what my hairdresser will propose! 😊😎

I agree it's much easier with grey hair to have a few highlights/ lowlights for contrast/ defintion as overall your scalp can breathe and be dye free but you also have a bit of variety!

Hey Emma! You should have a look into getting a professional keratin treatment! Great for smoothing frizzy hair and not as intense as permanent straightening. I still have some of my natural wave after my recent treatment and heat styling is so much quicker and easier as less products are needed to create that smooth shiny look and hair is so much more manageable!!!

Keratin smoothing treatments are an absolute Godsend! And last 3 - 4 months!

That’s true, the hair is dominating the whole person. Emma seems to vanish behind 😮 and this special colour shows at first sight that it’s box dye!

Growing up, my hair was so well behaved. Then, when I turned 30, it got a mind of its own and not matter what I do, it changes 5 minutes later. I wake up every day not knowing what my "style" will be for that day. 🤬😖 I swear I can feel the strands laughing as it plays games with me. 😂🤣
