YES...500 PAIRS...LOVE IT. I love shoes as well and have AT LEAST 500 pairs. As a matter of fact my favorite style of shoes are the platform stilettos. Overall, I can already see from the first scene that I own some of the same styles you have 😀. Thanks for sharing your tips.

I thought my 275 pairs of heels was huge, oh my I've got to get it together, these lady's arent messing around, lol. It's an addiction, I keep telling myself NO MORE, I DONT EVEN WEAR ALL THE CURRENT PAIRS, then baaamm, I see some like never before and I have to have,lol, even my makeup chair is a high heel chair, my fav seat in the house. Very nice btw, gorgeous shoe collection..❤️👠

Lol, dear, 275 pairs is nothing to sneeze at. Tell that to a co-worker or scrutinizing family member(s) and their mouth would drop open. You can do some work with that amount. I know it from one shoe lover with a massive amount of shoes to another 😉.

LOL you couldn’t be more right about that and Girl 100 pairs is A LOT of shoes😀 I haven’t done a count lately as I have added much more to my collection but at the time of this video I was around 500 pairs. Now I’m sure is 600 LOL I seriously have a problem I know. Thanks for watching😊

Wow! Nice collection and You're amazing! ☺️❤ What's your secret on being able to walk on those high heels? The max heel height that I can walk on is 5 inches (with a bit of struggle walking already 😅). I wish I could walk on 6 inch heels or higher. I always get scared that im going to trip especially walking outside on concrete road or shiny floor. 😭

Awe it just takes some practice. If you are able to walk in the 5 inch heels, get one pair of 6 inch heels and just practice and In time you will feel comfortable. Thanks for watching and leaving such a lovely comment😊💙

​@ambizzaresdiyotherstuff3008 Yeah...my shoe collection was primarily heels too until I started working in a department/sector of the state (I have a government job) where putting on heels weren't practical, namely working in a state mental institution and a state prison 😐... so I started investing in fashion sneakers and different booties and oxfords or loafers that had rubber soles (meaning something I can walk fast or run in if it came to that without slipping and sliding) so that's how I still made shoes fun for me and further added different styles to my collection. To date, I'm back to working in an office environment now within the state government sector still and the heels are back into action along with those stylish loafers and oxfords😉.

I came here looking for ideas for my husbands shoes! Lol his shoes are so dang big compared to woman’s shoes!!

Do you ever get shamed for your shoe collection? I have 500 pairs of shoes and I collect many other things and I am a bargain shopper I do not break the bank. Why do people like to put us down for having an abundance if we love fashion and it makes us happy? What do you tell people , friends or family that put you down for having so much. It really hurts my feelings my mom and step dad & sisters do this to me. :(

Awe you should NEVER feel bad for having a lot of something you love. When someone wants to put me down for having so many pairs of shoes I tell them you know what, I work VERY HARD for EVERYTHING I have and I WILL NOT feel bad for having a lot of something I love! Never feel bad for making yourself happy. If having a lot of shoes makes you happy, then you go buy as many as you can afford😉 I just bought a little over 50 more pairs and I don’t feel bad about it at all. It’s what I love and wanted to spend my hard earned money on. Thanks for watching 😊

Thinking about the cute outfits you can wear with them is also fun. My mom says you will never wear all of those. It’s not about that though it’s about building a beautiful collection that takes time and shopping hours finding that pair you adore! People around me just don’t get it they think I’m insane. I told them, are celebrities insane, they have huge collections. My mom says well you are not a celebrity. So I guess I’m suppose to strive to be regular? That’s so not who I am. I’m happy to know a fellow collector because people are just so mean, they get so angry at me for having too much shoes, clothes, cars, hats, everything. It’s such a lonely feeling being outcasted for having a lot of beautiful things. Thank you for the beautiful message!! Happy to have come across your organizing tips!! Cleaning my shoes and not letting them get dirty is another thing I always do. When you have a lot you don’t ever have to wear a pair out just clean & rotate and come back to that pair later on... I appreciate my blessings very much and I do my best to care for everything. Shoes tell a lot about a person. I feel they are the foundation of your presentation of yourself & I take my shoes seriously ! Treat them well & they will last us many many years! 💞

So, although it's a year later, (I just had to look up shoe videos for entertainment because I've been on a shoe buying kick lately 😉) I saw your comment and felt compelled to reply. A year ago, I also posted a comment on this video advertising that I had AT LEAST 500 PAIRS of shoes so really, I DO own more than that amount then and now even more. To answer your question, YES...I've experienced people trying to shame or judge me for having many pairs of shoes from none other than my SILs and MIL. My parents embrace it and admire my style and wardrobe...I mean it did begin with my mother afterall. Anyhow, years back when my husband and I just bought our first house, I was showing the youngest SIL around and at the time, I had most of my shoes in the garage. When she discovered that what was stored in the bags and containers were shoes, she instantly started in saying "OMG...but WHY does anyone need so many pairs of shoes? You're not going to possibly be even able to wear so many shoes anyway. That's just unnecessary. Who needs all those shoes?" Fast forward years later when we upgraded to a bigger house (and I could FINALLY have my dressing room closet 😀) my BIL was helping us move and bring in items and such so he knew the amount of items that were JUST for me. We weren't settled into the house entirely, just moving in and my husband invited my in-laws (older SIL and parents in-law who were in town staying with her) to see our new address in the next town over from SIL. So during the reveal of our new house, my BIL remarked on how he thought his wife had alot of shoes but he sees that I have as much if not more than she does in terms of a wardrobe (yes I have a massive wardrobe too, not just shoes), and went on to say how he has seen some of the shoe styles and think they're nice but a lot. My MIL happened to be around as he was talking and she chimes in about how the orphans would love to benefit from the money spent on all those shoes. She just so happened to start some sort of "Christian" foundation to help orphaned children in the motherland (my family and in-laws are African). She went on to say how if I didn't wear something in a year, I should donate it. My oldest SIL who happens to be a banker, would comment over the years of my marriage about how "financially irresponsible" people are by buying up "expensive things or many things and living beyond their means," insinuating that I spend frivolously on myself and shopped our way into financial ruin. She use to ask where I purchased something, and not because she wanted to get it but she was trying to size up the money spent on it. She'd also have the guts to ask how much something cost. I'd always say "I don't recall" or don't answer. I mean, WHO asked any of them about MY preference of having a large wardrobe, shoes and all? I never asked ANY of them for money to buy the shoes or anything else for that matter. The irony of it is, had it been any of my SILs (three total of my husband's sisters) with an abundant wardrobe or anything else, MIL would look at it as "a blessing" but when it comes to me, it's too much. Yet in her day back in the 70's and 80's FIL disclosed the amount they would spend on THEIR wardrobe and the number of times they'd buy something new...they went to fashion week in Paris before and clubbing and partying and living it up buying high priced top dollar furniture to furnish their newly built house...on and on I digress but you get the picture. So, who is SHE to put a roadblock up for me living MY life with MY husband and having fun with MY style AND abundant shoe collection and wardrobe? Next, yes...insecure (female)co-workers notice and talk alot too and start in snarkly with all the questions like "You must have alot of shoes don't you? I only need like up to 5 or 10 pairs." "What does your husband say about you buying so many pairs of shoes?" "OMG her whole paycheck go towards her clothes and shoes...who needs all that?" Overall my response is either SILENCE with an unmoved expression (main response to MIL's and oldest SIL's comments as well as co-workers ) or really a simple, unapologetic "Yeah, I LOVE shoes. What can I say?" with a knowing, proud smile (my response towards youngest SIL's remark and occasionally co-workers). I give NO deep explanations or justification for MY purchases besides that. They don't have to get it or agree with it. I work and earn my own money to do as I please after holding down some responsibilities and I KNOW that fact which is all that matters. I'M into style and it's the biggest way I enjoy my daily life so they should mind their own lives and find something for them, and let me be and do me because their input is not going to change how I do things in my corner even if I get up to 1,000 pairs of shoes.

@@boujimobbin9530 So considering your collection of shoes AND clothes, have you managed to create a dressing room and/or shoe closet for yourself yet? If you have a spare bedroom that you can use as a closet, I highly recommend it 😉😀. I agree about we everyday women/non-celebrity women being able to enjoy and have many options from a large or massive wardrobe. After all, if not of our own mother or stylish figure within our family household, was it/is it not the celebrities and fashion magazines we're inspired by? If you're a fashionable or stylish individual or a social butterfly, it shouldn't be so unusual to have a large or even massive wardrobe. I say keep enjoying yourself. You have the privilege of shopping in your own personalized home boutique.

I’m having a hard time finding the shelf that you got from Walmart online they have various difference of shells the shelf that you have does it have openings or holes across that platform or just when you hang the shoes on the edge I didn’t see a link to the shelf at all would you be able to help me or anybody?

Hello, I bought that shelf a very long time ago so it may not be a available at Walmart anymore but, I did find a similar shelf on Amazon. Mine does have holes throughout each shelf. This is absolutely a waste when there are people that have one pair some none. You could not wear all of them in a year. Sad waste of money. No wonder people have no savings and live pay check to pay check and are credit card poor. This is shoe hoarding.

Eye on art Everyone is entitled to their opinion however; I work VERY HARD for everything I have and give MANY pairs of shoes away ALL the time to help others so before you judge and make comments like these you should perhaps get more info on that person and not judge people based off of a video on KZread! I should be able to collect anything I want and spend my hard earned money how I see fit. Just because you may not collect something or like something enough to have a lot of it, does not make me a bad person because I do. None the less thanks for checking out the video.

Is this intentional?...I mean do individuals just choose to look for these types of videos to start some sort of IDK...online feuding or something? Ok...you've got your wish with someone acknowledging your comment. I PERSONALLY HAVE MORE PAIRS THAN SHE DOES...mind you in my initial post, I typed I have AT LEAST 500 pairs of shoes. Now, first, for me to have gotten to over 500 pairs was not done in a few months it's an over the years accumulation...so no...a person, namely me for example is not or does not go into debt over buying shoes and also, we're not talking a big haute couture shoe collection of shoes costing a bare minimum of $500 which even for that, to each his/her own. Next, how can you possibly determine how or when someone will wear her pair of shoes at any given moment? We all don't share the same style. So IF you don't have vision or style that doesn't mean that she or again using myself as an example, I don't have vision or style and won't make use of the shoes. Frankly, I have pairs of shoes that I bought even 10 years ago and I'm just now getting around to wearing them today or I have bought shoes last week and have worn them before shoes that I've gotten 10 years ago, how about that? When you're ready to wear them you wear them because it depends on what look you're going for at that time and the shoes that come to mind...it's as simple as that. Next, what does someone else's situation have to do with anything? No pair of shoes, one pair of shoes or 1,000 pairs of shoes...why should that be an issue directed towards people who have it? If you love shoes buy them. As I've said, these numbers aren't bought in a month so you too can build up your count If that's what's really bothering you. Otherwise, if you want to feel obligated in helping out the person with the two pairs of shoes or one pair of shoes then that's your mission. Keep it for you. It doesn't make you more or less honorable than the next person. Yet, even still, how would you know the person doesn't donate? Not that I even need to say this but years ago, at one time, I've donated over 100 pairs of shoes, some worn once, more, and half not worn at all. Fast forward to more recent years, I've donated 200 at one time. So, decluttering and organization is a lot different than hoarding as you've chosen to call it. All in all everyone can have an opinion and a preference but it's different when you have an assumption and when you attempt to hijack someone else's preference or livelihood with your own wrong or negative conclusions. Again, if it's not for you then it's simply not for you. For those that choose to have one pair of shoes I don't assume that they only have rice and beans in the cupboard or are destitute, anymore than it should be assumed that I'm in credit card debt over shoes. Must she make it a mission to assume and save the world just because someone doesn't have a pair of shoes? People kill me with their "Orphans could use the money that you spend on shoes." or the condescending "Why would anyone have so many pairs of shoes? How could you even wear them all?" comments...yes those are comments I've had directed towards me from MIL (orphans) and a SIL (the following comment). So to you and others that have such comments and questions, I also would like to comment further and ask questions of my own...Did anyone ask you for the money to buy the shoes? If you assume that I'm in credit card debt are you also going to be willing to give the money to pay off that debt? Did I personally come to you and ask you to take on the assignment of making out a schedule or time table of when to wear the shoes? If you think the funds would be better off used elsewhere then go ahead and donate to your cause. I won't coerce you to buy shoes instead. So leave the person and the shoes out of it.
