It's good to meet another stitcher who's 'old school'😀. Recently started a chart three times on different count fabrics. I ended up tent stick 2x1 on 32 count. Wish I'd stayed with 1x1 on 25ct!

I have always wanted to know how someone started a Heaven and Earth. Thank you for sharing. I am a huge Randal Spangler fan. I found him thru diamond painting and his paintings are what started my mom's diamond painting journey. Will have to look maybe i can find a spangler I like to stitch.

Thank you for sharing this! I know this video is older. But I just picked up my very first HAED pattern, I actually bought 2! I wondered how you knew where to start. I have done a couple Dimensions kits. But I found somethings I really like and I think would look lovely in our home. I can’t wait to get started! ❤

why not just use Yarn Tree's excellent calculator to find out how much fabric you need?

I do not do any math on my fabric! I take a handful pins and count 10 squares and pin it, 10 squares and pin it and so on until I count the actual stitches I need in H and W!! 🙈

I see you use some sort of clamps to hold the extra length of fabric. Where did you get them and what are they called? I could really use those for my projects.

Those blue things? Those were a gift actually. She never told me where she got them but they are so cool.

I found a shop with the threads and just messaged them. I ordered the # I wanted and sent them the list of which flosses I needed.

Thirty years 30 work projects for me I at 30 years old pattern easy to finish the hard work was the frogs for me 😅and easygoing me was mice sewing pattern 🎉

How do you keep the stitches from sliding under? I am trying to do 1 over 1 on evenweave and it is driving me crazy!

Sorry, I am just now seeing this! For tent it can be difficult. I like to use a high-quality evenweave, and I don't pull my stitches tight! That's important.

Do you have a cross stitch bookmark pattern for Galatians 5:22 (fruits of the spirit)?

There are tons of videos on YT. I don't have any but it depends on how big your chart is and what kind of fabric you want to use.
