Just found you splashing around in the sea of flosstubes and have jumped in to join you - lovely to catch up with another UK stitcher and see all your projects. I'm currently heading towards the end of the MFESAL2023 and am looking forward to working on other stuff or I would have joined you on that lovely hare and hound piece, but I have got two Long Dogs waiting in the wings and they're next. Love The Pilgrim so that might be no 3 ..... because it's good to plan ahead for the next ten years.... 😂😂 Happy stitching! Kim ❤

Welcome! Oh I completely get it with the patterns waiting in the wings! I’ve just seen the new MFESAL2024 and I’ve fallen in love with it… which means stitching the hound and the hair as quickly as possible. If we didn’t plan for the next 10 years we would be bored! 😂 Happy Stitching to you too ❤️ 🪡

Mainly fullcoverages. My Unconventionalxstitch Beauty Will Save the World hust hit 50%. Im trying to finish my Foregone Mini for Christmas this year😬😬😬 shes at 75% but the itch to start alllllll the things is very strong 😂

I’m so glad I could help with your full coverage, looking back on all my patterns it does state 2 over 1 and you being a rule follower but yeah that doesn’t work as you’ve seen I don’t think I actually read the pattern when I did my first chart I literally asked some questions then started 😆

Welcome! I haven’t tried silk yet… it’s a rabbit hole I’ve yet to dive into yet! Would you recommend? I hadn’t seen the 2024 SAL until I started the Hound and the Hare and I’m so tempted. It’s beautiful isn’t it!? What colour way are you going for? 🤩

I love your stitching but I felt compelled to comment on the Matt Damon talk. I feel the same way!! I cannot explain it and my husband thinks it’s ridiculous because I like movies with Matt Damon (like Good Will Hunting) but I often don’t want to watch a movie because he’s in it. It’s so weird lol

@@AftonGroveKnitter I should have explained myself better! The Fall of the House of Usher is a Netflix series that’s just been released based on some of Edgar Allen Poe’s work. It would be great to watch this whilst you stitch the Edgar Allen Poe by Modern folk embroidery 🪡 🤩

I honestly can’t remember mentioning ASMR … honestly my brain🙈 but I don’t believe it means anything in the Cross Stitch world so I would probably have just referred to the everyday ASMR. X
