Man Nick should get a million subscribers for trying his best
I was an SDE at a FAANG making good money. I quit because of my boss (pissed me off), but put most of my money towards an emergency fund which allowed for my decision. I don't regret it.

It's like that phrase, "People don't leave companies. They leave managers." That's often been the case in my resignations, too. In my experience, too many managers can't see the bigger picture or maybe just don't care what the big picture is and manage by emotion rather than logic.

You look like you’re on the right track. But I will add that you should learn how to cook; it’s an absolutely necessary skill. If I were 24 again, I’d devote an hour a day to learning culinary skills and technique.

@@javier.alvarez764 I got serious about cooking skills about when I turned 30, and practiced simple stuff repeatedly while gradually increasing my repertoire of dishes. Remember you only live this life once. So, when you get old you will look back and realize you did nothing. Spend some money having fun and buying stupid things. Trust me, it will make you feel better, and also you will find a purpose to wake up and work every single day. :)

Why buy stupid things instead of investing to retire early and be free from having to work? Genuine question, I have a nice salary but I still live very frugally with this goal in mind. I believe happiness comes from within and not from possessions.
@ling636
2 жыл бұрын
@@Soutfast tbh you can do both. Have a budget/goal of how much to save to meet your retirement goals but also have a budget for having fun. One of regrets was focusing too much on saving when I could have easily spent a small portion of my saving to have fun with friends.
@anonymoustv8604

Not really mate. You don't need to spend money stupidly for finding a purpose to wake up and work every single day. That itself is a stupid mindset tbh. Spend money depending on how much you own. If you own large amounts, spend accordingly

I'm pretty much the same I prefer to invest in upskilling and stocks. On another note, you need more sleep. It hurts to see your eye bags.
Then why do you invest considering the risk that it's not that safe?
