I know right! I just really started getting my hair roller set and I love it but I'm trying to get it to last longer... I bought a satin pillow case from Sephora that does help but I really think I need to wrap my hair with a satin scarf just to keep the curls longer. I wish there were more guys on roller set video. Everything is girls... And even though that helpful in some cases, my hair is, of course a lot shorter than theirs with a curly faux hawk

@@yoEliptic Yeah I actually stopped the bonnet cuz my curls moved around too much in it. They actually look better when I slept but just a silk pillowcase.. and I bought a $80 one off Sephora seems to really help. I try to just sleep one way but I was saying to the other guy. I think I need to really start wrapping my hair with a silk scarf. Not too tight but a little snug just to let the cross last longer I woke him. Any thoughts on roller set hair?.. and my hair is short

I only wear a bonnet for two day. I have a few... because the first day of products, it saturates the bonnet. But a bonnet is a must... but you're right... wash it frequently.

@@DrJames_YT you should always sleep in a bonnet or Durag or something to protect hair moisture and to keep the curls from getting frizzy. You could put it on while hair is wet if you want but I hate wet hair so I blow dry and then put it on so I don’t lose definition. I put it on everyday and I wash and restyle my hair like once or twice a week.

Put condioner 3 times a week and use shampoo once a week it will ruin ur curls but u can wet it everyday but don't use shampoo

Depending on how short your hair is, you can also use a Durag instead of the bonnet

If you have short short hair like a little longer then a normal big chop this help you get 4 hair type and you do four parts but don’t tye the hair with the tyes and put on your bonnet and your curls won’t be so flat or squash when you wake up I hope this helps

Fireruby gamez it’s all up to you. Gel leaves a caste so it feels crunchier. Gel also causes a lot of shrinkage. But it defines curls really good. Don’t keep gel in your hair *too* long, because there will be a lot of build up. A few days should be good, then shower and get all that gel out your hair.

Durags make the hair flatter. If you are looking for your hair volume to be mostly maintained, go with a bonnet or a silk cap like kingscrowning.com

@@DrJames_YT okay so, that post was 6 months ago when I had started taking care of my hair, now I’ve learned a lot and ima tell u. 1st I don’t have that problem anymore. I solved it by keeping the moisture in my hair by using a bonnet when my hair is damp after a shower with shampoo and conditioner. I only wash my hair every 2-3 days. I have 3 bonnets In total and use them very often. Hope this helped, also, if u got jay any questions lmk
