Very interesting, setting yourself a very small window of time to produce something, is very much the motivator to actually finish it. The other side of the issue is the constraints on location, cast, etc, and why for the projects i have been planning that I am going the all CG route with Unreal. The only thing holding me back right now is a motion capture setup, since I need to clean my garage out or find a better space somewhere where when I am ready to start production.

Great job! You will learn more from making 20 short films (no matter if they are good or not so good) then you will in 3 years of film school.

This is literally the same thing i run into as well. I went to Full Sail University and i got my Bachelors degree in digital cinematography. I was writing a feature and as well came up with a short. Inspiring to know that there is more creative energy out there. Btw great job on the film.

I'm wondering when the term "no budget" surfaced. I have been using it to describe my stuff as a joke referencing to the more custom "low budget". I didn't now "no budget" something is a thing.

Your gimbal problem. I had a similar one with my Crane 3s. Had to adjust the torque to be lower. You might need more or less depending on the weight. Good video 👍
