Thanks for the video. I wondered about the whole use of glue when sewing paper and glad you mentioned not to use a tape runner but to use regular glue instead. I will remember that.

Happy to see I am doing the sewing correctly with the right needle etc. Good idea to use the nail file to use when threading binding under the needle to make the tuck. I use my fingers.... Taking a bug chance I know 😂... thank you Gi. Stay safe and well too. 💕

I love that you showed this. I do have a word of caution - experienced sewers know that you NEVER use your fabric scissors for paper or anything other than fabric, So if you do sew fabric keep your paper needles marked and separate, same goes for rotary cutting blades. Anything sharp dulls much more quickly cutting paper and other non-woven textiles. If you go to sew fabric with a dull needle you will have skipped stitches, tension issues and think your machine is damaged. Just a word of caution to new sewers who also love paper crafting, don't ask how I know this!!! LOL

Is there something you do to your seam binding to prepare it before use? The seam binding I buy at fabric stores or while thrifting in USA seems different...not quite as crinkly, soft, silky...or something. I like the texture of yours and wonder how to duplicate. Thank you for sharing your process with devoted followers such as myself. The only problem is, I like to spend time watching you so much, I am not spending time at my own craft table!

Any suggestions? Nite/suggestions: If you keep the bulk of your materials to the left/outside area you will find it easier to stitch straight. I enjoy your site and tutorials!
