I love how everyone of these kind of posts think that if you leave the kitchen clean when you go to bed it will still be clean in the morning! I have full grown children in my house. They wait to get in the kitchen after I have left it clean so when I get up in the morning many people have used it!

Haha- yes: I’ve raised 3 boys and although they did their best to put things away and rinse their dishes, I too would wake to find my sink full, my counters in need of a better wipe down, and, that x-lg bag of chicken wings I’d have gotten for the church potluck would be gone! Now they’re grown and have their own homes. I’d love to have them back! Special years indeed.

I am a FlyLady, too! Love her program and absolutely love Diane in Denmark! I’ve been wanting to make a half sheet control journal for a long time. You’ve given me the inspiration to do it!!!

Great example Shary! As a single person, I have decided to divide the work up into 10 zones. Since I only have to clean up after one person, I think doing each zone once a month will be overdoing it for me. With 10 zones, I can do each one every 2 months or 5 times a year.

Thank you. I started the flylady system last week. I can see a huge difference. I love marking off the check list when tasks are completed.

I've been using half sheets for almost a year now and i love it. I keep my journal in my cleaning caddy and check things off as i go.

This is inspiring! Getting back on a regular cleaning schedule is one of my goals for this year. I used to do SHE with the 3x5 cards but got off track.

Thank you Shary for this great video. I'm Vera from northern Ireland and have watched Diane in Denmark and am learning the fly lady system but have not yet got a control journal yet. Watching you with yours I now feel I could try making one in my own way. I have no computer or printer just this tablet which I'm only learning to use. I do have plenty of coloured pens and pencils and paper so I can make a start! Thank you again for your encouragement. God bless you. Please share how to make candles I could use as the ones in our local shop are made from paraffin and I have severe asthma so cannot use them. I would love to be able to make safe ones.
