Two different cage setups, one on a wash and one on a trail. Enjoy!

This is my first year trapping. I'm only allowed to use cage traps in my state. I have always wanted to trap and am starting at 31 year old. Videos like this are a godsend man. Keep the tradition alive. Too many people want trapping gone and people like you give the trapping crowd a good name. I appreciate you

Thank you I really appreciate it! Good luck in you trapping endeavors. I trapped a bit when I was a kid but didn't really get going on it until I moved to AZ. I started in my mid 30s so you have me beat! LOL. Glad you are enjoying the videos. Thanks for watching!

I build my own cages. I did a whole cage build series on my channel. If you are looking to buy cages check out Cam Trip cage traps. They are excellent.

@@TheArizonaSportsman That is the plan. Going to do a couple. One for a bobcat size cage and then going to do a build for a coyote sized cage.

I'm in the Phoenix area and this is my first year trapping. When do you start putting your traps out? It seems a little bit warm still.

I have the same issue down here. I am going to wait until it cools down a bit more usually the beginning of December. That way we have consistent cool weather.

What would you do different if you were to trap coyotes?
@OutdoorMike
Жыл бұрын
Most of the time when I catch coyotes in my sets its with bait. Like Trapper Js all predator bait. Great stuff. Getting a coyote to commit to a cage is tough.

@@OutdoorMike I just watched them. Great job. Hope you have a great season. I will be watching for your videos. I always have a cage trap set in my yard 24/7 365 days a year. Plus we trap during the season. We don't have a bobcat population that can be trapped. Not even a season for them. Stay Safe !!

took two big males last fall that had killed all my bourbon red turkies. Sold em to taxidermists for good money that paid for a lot of chicken feed.

Sorry to hear about your Turkeys. That sucks, but glad to hear that you caught the culprits and that it helped cover the cost of feeding all the chickens.
