Love this! That verse melody reminds me a lot of Death Cab. And it's cool to see your Ableton-Reaper workflow. Your Ableton videos are making me consider actually learning and putting to use that Live Lite license I have.
Good Video, nice to see the time lapsed, edited video of you building the project
Great video & demonstration of some skills to change an idea into a song!
I really appreciate your videos🌟🌟🌟
Was not expecting to hear these Sunny Day Real Estate vibes!
It’s like a cross between Death Cab and Pavement. Good job David

made me think of nada surf a bit
This reminds me of the Alan Parson’s Project. Well done
Great stuff thanks!!!
Awesome video! :D came for learning on how to improve on my Ableton skills and found out it is actually OK to work between Ableton and Reaper (which I've been doing for a while and felt bad about it xD)
Awesome song
I like your hair
Really week done, gonna reference this later.
Question. Why didn't you record the guitars and vocals directly in Ableton? Why you decided to use Reaper to that part of the process?
Before you replaced the piano with the guitar it sounded like an indie pop song that would’ve been popular in like the late 00’s
Great video, cool song! The Bandcamp link to the song seems to be broken though.

Thanks! I just fixed it. :)
I love the result. Which mic are you using for your vocals?

Thanks! I'm use the ridiculously cheap MXL990. I have a few more expensive mics, but for some reason the MXL seems to sound best for my voice.

Thanks for your reply. I’m currently exploring microphones for singing and sampling with a bit more frequency range( I currently use a SM57). I love your channel btw, might dive into Kontakt myself once I have acquired a license.
"How I record in Ableton" *Records in Reaper* 😅 (I kid, if you like Reaper's take function, why not use it?)
Sound kind like Sonic youth
Sounds like if death cab, Radiohead, and coldplay had a musical baby
And the flaming lips sound in there too
Whats the BPm on this track?

When I made this video, Ableton Live didn’t have a take system. This was added in Ableton Live 11.
