Love the old windows. I have one on my fireplace. Right now it has a magnolia wreath on it, but I change the wreath with the holidays. Can't wait to put my Spring wreath up along with bunnies. Thanks for sharing!

So So cute Danielle! You remind me of a younger me back years ago! LOL I should start remembering all the projects and write them down but I'd be worn out when I think of it all. LOL These are just so so precious. They are going to look fabulous when you finish playing and having fun with the decor. I can't wait to see them! I love what you have done with them and I think if all the DIY er's here got together we could build a home..............LOL........or at least a couple She Sheds! HA HA ........seriously these are just precious and I can't wait to see what else you do with them. Growing up we lived in many places that had windows as such and then there were storm windows in the winter to put up and switch them out for screens in the summer! That tells a person how cold the midwest was in the winter ......LOL Still is for that matter.......or it can be! They do have lead paint test kits at Home depot and Lowes to make sure what kind of paint it is. I recomend testing it before so you know and can take proper safety precautions. But they are not hard at all to clean up and hang. I love how they look!💕🤗

Thank you for this! I'm waiting for a lead testing stick before I dive in and re-do the one I purchased. Mine is 44"x48", so quite a large window.

Great idea, and affordable to! I can't wait to see how you decorate them, especially for the holidays. Can you believe July 4th is just around the corner? After that the days fly by sooooo fast! I love old Windows and stained glass, so this is right up my alley! Thank you, Danielle.

So clever and the windows look great beside your TV. That glass cleaner is awesome! I also caution you about removing old paint with lead. You should wear a proper mask and always do it outside if possible. Not at all healthy to inhale lead paint particles esp. when sanding and you don’t want those particulates airborne in your house for all to breathe. I am sure you will find many ingenious ways to decorate these. I also wanted to say regarding Joann’s clerk not honoring the old discount sign, ask for a manager in those situations. They will bend over backwards to keep a customer happy, usually. Clerks sometimes are not well trained or they take the path of least resistance. I just went to Michael’s with a 60% off competitor coupon to buy a fabric garland and it was still on the truck so the manager took my name & phone number and, when the garland came in, she called me and had the cashier honor that coupon. Woohoo! 😀 Another time I was in Michael’s in the clearance section wanting to purchase some small glass bud vases of 3 held together with jute but could not find a price. The jute kept sliding down so I think the small amount of glue failed somewhere. The manager came down the aisle and I asked him how much they were. He said he would sell them for $1 as they were going to ship them out of the store the next day. So I bought 2 more sets of 3 and they are now filled with short-stemmed poppies of various colors I found in Boscov’s. Love bargains! We don’t do enough price haggling in this country!

Those are the BEST wall hooks! I use them on many things. I have one of the old windows and my oldest daughter and I are constantly swapping it between because we both love the way it looks..time to find us one more so we won’t play tug o war anymore, haha! ❤️❤️❤️

It never fails when hanging larger items, I hit a stud on one side. If I wanted to hit the stud, I’d never be that lucky. Lol. Those windows Are Great! I actually found two nice frames without glass last fall. One is on my front porch, and the other is waiting for creativity to arrive. I think it’s about here. You are so creative, you should make two wreathes. Use grape vines, a funky bow, and some greenery and flowers.i bet they’d be gorgeous! Btw...I spilled a half gallon of paint on the bedroom carpet. I was no one’s fan that day.☹️😟🤨

Thank you so much for doing this video!!! We replaced our original windows (from 1966) last fall and I kept 6 of the old ones. I was thinking of doing something above my couch. This is perfect!! I was wondering what kind of paint to use on the sides of the windows so they wouldn't look so "new". I saw a video Liz had done with an old window and loved the idea of hanging a simple wreath on it. Your windows look perfect on each side of your tv!! Great job!!!

The windows look great and can't wait to see how you decorate them. As far as the wreaths at Joann's can't you use competitor coupons there to buy those wreaths. If you wait too long they may be gone. Also I saw some lighter green wreaths at Hobby Lobby yesterday and they are 50% off until after Saturday.

I bought an old window a couple of years ago at a thrift store. It's still in my shed. Then I found one at a dumpster w/o glass in it. Very interested in what your going to do. I thought at one time about putting my childrens and grandchildren pictures in the one with glass. I want to put mirrors in the other one.

What to do for mildew and mold smell in mine

Hay sweetie I’ve been doing this for years and years don’t use clear silicon use white then the only will have to paint the top of the cross brackets save you some time your so blessed. . merry Christmas

So those type of hooks really do work, I bought some years ago and was never brave enough to actually try them.

😇🎉 Hi Danielle, I absolutely L 💜 VE The windows, and when you accidentally spilled the paint 🎨 I said to myself, thank goodness for plastic, and then I said to myself, I hope there isn't any small holes. LOL 😊 Then when you sprayed, the glass cleaner, I said OMGOODNESS, Danielle is ready for X-MAS LOL { The glass cleaner, looks like SN❄W } 😊❄❄❄❄❄ Your windows are very centered, they look REALLY GOOD, and as far as the wreaths go, just take your time, because I am sure you already know that, you Love, Love, Love the windows, and you want to be REALLY HAPPY, With the wreaths you choose. Hi, I love your window ideas! I just have friendly suggestion that you may want to use a better lens or camera to film your videos; just a thought. But, I love your ideas and in depth how-to training 🙂. Plus, your nails look great!
