lovely....i think i have the exact same old window...! I love what you've done with yours....very sweet and very pretty. One thing I think I would change is to hang it a good 4" lower. When it is too high, your eye has to adjust to another 'plane' having it lower would pull it together with the corbels and bed. thanks for the ideas!

I'm not sure which office max you used, but my 24x36 sure didn't cost $3.50 - try $24.99+tax. Anyway, i love this and have made one for my daughter whose best friend for 30 yrs was killed in a motorcycle accident. Thank you again for taking the time to show us how to do this!

@@yellowdaisy2473 What do you mean by engineer paper? I looked for the way you got it done for $3.50 also. AH HA..I found it..AWESOME SAUCE !!!!! :)

What did you use to attach it to the wall?

What is the size of this window?

Did the black and white copy print with wide horizontal lines? it looks like the grooms arm has bands across it, I was just curious if the quality was what you wanted. it looks great, but I would have hung the window the other way, with the wider section of the frame at the bottom...that's the way it would normally be hung.

I think it may just be the lighting because it doesn’t have that in person. It’s not professional quality but it is perfect for what I wanted.

i made a very similar project a few years ago. it was hanging over our bed with heavy duty picture hanging wire but the wire seemed to just shred and i happened to check it when it was worn very thin! had to take it down and its just been leaning on the window seat. do you have a suggestion for hanging it so we aren't afraid its going to fall on our heads? how did you hang yours?

Omgosh. I am so glad you saw that before it fell. I just used the frame of the window to hang it on two nails. Just make sure the nail is secured in the wall to help support the weight of the window.

Did you take the picture to Office Max to Print or did you print online... my 24x36 is also $24.99. Did you print as a Poster or Picture?

We just printed engineer copies at office max. It’s a flimsy poster board type paper not picture paper.

Just an FYI it’s a blueprint they ordered and it will get kick backed from office max. I just tried doing and they said your not suppose to do it that way because it’s technically not a blue print. Order from Walgreens and get 50% off right now do you can get it for $7.00
