Hi Whitney, thanks for taking a stand against coconut oil. A lot of us just can't use it (in any of it's forms--straight out the jar or a chemical derivative in shampoos and conditioners). Your hair looks amazing and you can't ignore the results since you changed your regimen. This is not a post against coconut oil usage per see. It's just that some of us can't use it. I used a popular product line for over 20 years. My hair was shiny and I got lots of compliments but my scalp itched like crazy and that area stopped growing as quickly. I realized I too might be coconut oil-sensitive. I recently made a few changes to my regimen and my scalp and hair are slowly improving. Thanks again for your courage to the natural hair community.😘😘😘

I have a tapered TWA on my 4b/4c hair so my twist out maintenance routine is even simpler than yours: step 1/ put satin bonnet on - step 2/sleep! Can't beat that level of laziness loool!!! When my hair feels dry in the middle of the week, I scrunch my products (yes you read that correctly: scrunch on 4b/4c hair lol) without adding any water. That's how I maintain some definition through the week without retwisting my hair. I'll have to come back to this video in a few years to try this technique on longer hair.

Can we get an updated easy twist out routine. You have the best twist outs ever. Also congratulations on Theo. He is so cute and looks like Oya when she was born. Can we get a video on how the family is doing and how Oya is adjusting to her New big sister role.
