    1. Read a book in English (shriek). 2. Look up the words that attract your attention. 3. Bring the words back to the surface of your memory repeatedly. 4. Consume the contact in English every day all the time. 5. Flashcards or an application. 6. Attach an emotion to the word that you are trying to learn. 7. Look for the equivalent of the words in your native language. 8. Learn fillers. 9. Always learn a word in a context (hit me). 10. Learn word chunks. 11. Learn different meanings of the word. 12. Be patient.

You should be patient enough until all your hair fall out. I play video games almost every single day in English, however, new words seem to never come to an end. No matter how many fucking words I learn, they just keep on coming. I don't know whether anybody is into games here, but there's a terrifc game called Red Dead Redemption about cowboys and western world things. I'm talking about it because the whole game is in English and you can't change its language. In the game you can go to general stores to get a wide range of different goods. The stores have their catalogues browser in which you can browse through the pages for what you like. You can buy, sell and ride a bunch of different breed of horses. You can shave yourself, trim your beard or hair, or you can cut or get your hair cut at a barber's shop. You can camp or go on a hunt, you can even brew your own coffe. Man, the game is just amazing for English students that want exposure to new vocabulary. But one thing is a living hell for a person that wishes to understand spoken English, I mean, someone that wants to get every thing in English, the fucking thing is hip hop lyrics. I bet even our teacher can understand those motherfuckers singing their songs.

Since the day I've decided to really focus on learning English, imitation, reading books daily, listening to audiobooks or podcast, studying grammar, and learning vocabulary have become part of my daily routine. I'm grateful that I'm a bookworm, so reading is not a challenging task for me. I struggled mostly in studying grammar, learning vocabulary, and writing, but I'm working on it now.

All my life I tried to learn English. Unfortunately, every time it was unsuccessfully. But I have a certain goal now: pass the IELTS for 6.5 - 7.0 band. I hope I can go through all this way of learning foreign language. Actually, it isn't as easy as I thought. And one of the reasons is procrastination. You should struglle with it every day to develop a habbit to do some grammar excercises, learn and review new words and improve your listening skills by listening speech of native speakers. I want to be constant with it and I advise it for you guys. I'll try to reply to this comment in a half of year to summarize what I was doing all this time and what level I reached.

It will get easier with practice. Definitely look up the word if you happen to read it more than once and try to build a mental image of it, like giving it a context. Keep reading!!! Try different levels. Classics are more difficult to start with. Nonfiction is usually easier to understand in any language so try a nonfictional book in a subject that interests you. All the best!
