We stay in Corolla ever year!!! It's been a tradition now for me and my kids, now adults for 14 years. I keep a journal for every house, every year and all the people that come with us! Lovely journaling thanks for sharing!

I'm new to your channel, and the monthly highlight journal is what drew me to your videos. I am going to start a monthly highlight journal January 2024. I haven't decided on the journal type yet though. I''d like something hardback, with dotted pages, just not sure yet. For my daily journaling and planning I seem to do best using a nice hard cover spiral notebook with 100 gsm paper, and I use one notebook per quarter. I've been using the lined paper, but I intend to find a dot grid spiral notebook beginning Jan 2024 and try it for a quarter. I've used so many different types of journals over the years - all sizes, all kinds, all papers. I use a leather Traveler's Notebook regular size in my purse for appointment keeping and to jot down something important that needs to be done or taken care of, grocery lists, weather, and trackers.

I have been creating a monthly journal for 2023, since discovering your idea/channel just last year. I’m loving it! Question: I love your photo collage you cut apart for this November layout. Can you share how you make/print that photo collage, please. I’ve been using a 2x3 printer but the quality isn’t as good. Blessings!

I use photos from my phone and app called PicCollage to turn them into a 4x6 collage, and then print on 4x6 photo paper using my at-home printer (which is an epson ecotank)...for many years, I used a canon selphy, which is a great desk-size and cheaper option :)

Where did you get the large letter stencils that you use for the month names? I didnt see it listed below. Also i know you use Moleskine XL cache for monthly memories but what journal do you use for daily journaling? Thank you

@@MyAbidingJournal Love that idea!! Much less accumulating notebooks. Are you in Dingbats? I used that last year upon your recommendation. But, I tend to put a Lot in my journals like special bday cards, etc and the binding is Really really stretched out. Thinking a soft sided might be better. Any recommendations for a notebook that gets thick lol!

@@MyAbidingJournal I’ve looked up that journal and may give that a try. That would last forever with so many pages and only doing monthlies 🤪 I’m so excited for something different in 2024. My daily journaling was not working for me anymore. Thanks for sharing all you do!

Perhaps you mentioned this and I missed it, but how are you printing your photos? How do you get thumbnail size?

I use an app on my phone called PicCollage to make a 4x6 collage of the photos I want to use, print them on my printer at home, and then cut them out 😊
