The "Forever 17!" thing was a reference to the woman who voiced the mother. Inoue Kikuko is infamous for saying that line about herself.

Those young looking mothers are surprisingly realistic i know a couple of 30 year olds that are constantly mistaken as children cause they look so young and they're really short.

Btw, the idea of parents looks super young is completely possible, it's a type of rare mutation that makes it so that you're physical attributes stop aging and usually kicks in at around the teen years. It's real but rare. So is the thing with the massive breasts, that's also a rare mutation/disease that causes breasts to grow way too big, sometimes getting to sizes that we don't have measurements for, and this mutation/disease does not have anything to do with weight so someone who's super thin could still have f cup+ is they have it.

Same here

actually its tradition to offer some tea and some light refreshments for people visiting minus the japanese holidays. Its quite normal. Sometimes a gift is given but usually as a thank you or the returning of a favor. During holidays mostly heavier snacks are given out as the visit takes a long time usually until after dinner hence the longer lasting food. The joke with the younger looking women is the joke that Asians don't age very much and really we don't just its weird that's all.
