I so much agree with that!!
I too color or color symbol key words only per context, but the words own that specific color or symbol/marking forever. A key word is often repeated. A specific word may be key in Colossians but not in Acts. I keep track by using a table in MSWORD. Example, red can be used for a word many different styles by underlining, another word by red circle, another word by overline, another by red brackets, another by a red letter for example, a red S over the s in the word save, or a red B over the letter b in the word believed. For the word blood, I use 3 red droplets over the word. I also use the Concordance in the back of my inductive Bible to keep my markings and for Bibles without a Concordance I carry a little Dollar Tree notebook that has all my markings in alphabetical order. Twenty five years of marking key words means that I've had to get creative 😊

It's so wonderful how it can be so individual to what works for each person. I'm so thankful for that. GOD makes things so fun! HE so amazes me!

Hi Katie! I just saw this video on my notifications. Did you just expand your system or have you changed some the ways you color code and make notes in your bible? I tweaked it a bit from the original but now that you ask I can’t remember the specific changes. This one has a print out whereas the other one I wrote out by hand.
